Asher looked around and saw nothing, absolutely nothing.
Where did he bring me to all of a sudden? He thought to himself as he looked around the endless expanse of nothing.
"What is this place?" Asher asked his surprise evident.
"It's the Nirguna." Voriath replied, his voice calm.
"And what is it? It just looks like a whole lot of nothing to me."
"Let me explain something to you." Voriath begins. "The human world, consists of endless parallels, it is vast and is known to have no end."
"An infinite expanse." Asher said. "Well that's one way to put it, I know that much, what I don't understand is how this 'Nirguna' fits in."
"The Nirguna is the realm that exists above both the human and demon worlds." Voriath continued. "The demon world is almost the same as the human world but it doesn't have any parallels in it."
Asher just kept on nodding with his guard up. He looked around the Nirguna still seeing it as nothing.
"The Nirguna itself is a realm of absolute nothingness beyond duality." Voriath said finally.
"So what does that mean?"
"It means we can both go all out without having to worry about the world getting destroyed."
SILVERMIST ACADEMY
"Where's Asher?!" Princess Aethera screamed as she searched frantically for Asher. She looked around and saw Victor standing by himself. "Where is he?"
"I don't know, he's not someone who'd just walk off at the time of a crisis like this." Victor replied.
"This all seems strange, the demons appear and now Asher is nowhere to be found." She added, looking around and also trying to sense his mana signature.
"Let's just hope he's alright." Victor said as he sat down with his head in his hands.
"What's that?" Princess Aethera asked shocked as ground was shaking and the air around them seemed distorted. Reports were coming from all over the planet, from different continents that the supposed earthquake was on a planetary scale.
THE NIRGUNA
The strength of their punches were over the top and had immense power. Tremors were felt all over the human and demon world.
"This is what I wanted!" Voriath exclaimed as his mana aura erupted as he moved towards Asher at incredible speeds.
Voriath attacked with a high kick to Asher's head which he dodged at point blank range with pure precision.
"Dodging a light speed attack is impressive, for a human. Mid tier demons are as slow as that." Voriath shouted at the top of his voice.
Asher attacked as well, each of their punches on par with the other showing extreme strength as well. The tremors continued in both the human and demon world but the Nirgurna itself was being shaken as well.
"Th-This isn't possible, this has never happened before. No, I've never seen it happen before." Voriath noted as he and Asher felt the tremors within the Nirguna.
"Even the realm of the world beyond isn't beyond your own power right?" Asher asked, being sarcastic but Voriath didn't notice it.
"You have a good eye human, my power is strong enough to make even the Nirguna tremble."
Asher smirked and kept on attacking with Voriath matching each and everyone of his attacks.
By Tenria's standards, he would be the greatest martial artist on the planet. Asher thought to himself as he kept on attacking.
Voriath gathered mana in his palm once again. "Normally, mana manipulation isn't possible within the Nirguna but my strength has transcended this dimension." Voriath declared as he formed giant arrows of bright light behind him.
"Impressive mana control." Asher commended and smiled.
Voriath frowned, he had a feeling the human he was against wasn't taking him seriously.
"Die!" Voriath exclaimed and in one swift motion, the arrows went forth, attacking all in their path. Asher weaved and dodged effortlessly, even going as far as catching one of them at one point.
"Is this the fastest your attacks can go?" Asher asked, crushing the arrow in his hands.
"Ha ha ha! Impressive human, out of all the humans I've fought previously, you're the only one who's given me this much trouble."
"Thank you for your kind words sir." Asher said mocking Voriath.
Voriath attacked at superhuman speeds but Asher caught a hold of him and whirled him around. At every swerve, it seemed like space was shattering. The Nirguna was cracking everytime Asher whirled Voriath around.
Voriath let out his mana aura and the non-existent concept of gravity within the Nirgurna kicked in. Asher was still able to hold his own against it.
"That won't phase me." Asher continued his intense attack. "This place is impressive."
With each hit, the Nirguna cracked and trembled but after a few seconds, the cracks were being mended.
"It's repairing itself." Asher noted as he blocked a wicked attack from Voriath which sent him flying through a crack in the Nirguna.
"This is the void between worlds." Voriath said as he attacked Asher from behind, the tremors here were more intense than they were within the Nirguna.
Asher kept on attacking Voriath with a large amount of power.
DEMON WORLD
"What's going on Xanereth?" Xoraxys asked as the tremors persisted within the demon world.
"It seems it's not just here sire. The human world as well is experiencing the same amount of tremors that we are." Xanereth replied.
"That can't be possible can it? The human worlds endless parallels should make it sturdy enough shouldn't it."
"I'm afraid it is possible my king, the human and Voriath are attacking each other with punches strong enough to destroy an entire world." Xanereth explained.
"A human with enough power to match Voriath. Very interesting. What about the demons we sent to the human world?"
"They were defeated by the humans there my king." Xanereth replied with his head bowed down.
"It's fine, they'll respawn here sooner or later."
VOID BETWEEN WORLDS
Asher gathered the mana in his hands and c
lad his body in flames. "This should do it."
"You wish." Voriath said as his mana aura erupted once again.
