Lizarius, covered in injuries and still buzzing with residual lightning, slowly walked towards the corpse of the Wind Wolf leader. that was bad, he thought, I almost died. He reached the corpse and began to eat. After a while, he finished. The system announced, "You gained 200 Evolution Points and 3 Wind Wolf Genes."
Lizarius's injuries started to heal slowly. He walked towards the corpses of the other Wind Wolves and began to eat. After some time, he finished eating. The system announced, "You gained 900 Evolution Points and 12 Wind Wolf Genes."
I have been here for a while, Lizarius thought. I better get out of here before more come. But I have to find a way to get rid of the bloody smell . He realized, If I can evolve other Genes, I can evolve my own as well. "System," he commanded, "use 500 points to evolve the White Scale Lizard Gene." He felt a warm feeling spread through his body.
"Evolution complete," the system announced.
Lizarius thought, Now I can mask my smells and sounds. He turned invisible and started walking deeper into the forest. Usually, the system doesn't give me much information, he thought. I have to find a place to rest. After a while of walking, he reached a large tree. He climbed up, curled up and fell asleep.
He woke up in the middle of the night, his yellow eyes snapping open. Now his body felt fully healed, stronger and more resilient. Lizarius asked the system, "How many points do I have?"
"You have 600 Evolution Points and 15 Wind Wolf Genes," the system replied.
"System," Lizarius commanded, "fuse all the Genes." He felt a shock run through his body, a surge of power coursing through his veins. When I evolved my own Gene, it felt different, he thought. I felt a warm current flow through my body. "Use 200 points to evolve the Golden Scale Gene, 200 points to evolve my scales, and 200 points to evolve the Lightning Gene," he instructed. He felt the same shock as before, but this time it felt more profound, a sense of power surging within him.
Still invisible, he climbed down from the tree and started walking through the forest in the middle of the night, his yellow eyes glowing. After a while of walking, he came across a small cave. He walked inside. I have been walking around for a while, and I haven't come across any beasts inside the cave, he thought.
Up in the ceiling of the cave, there were dozens of bats with the symbol of the moon on their foreheads. They were large, with impressive wingspans.
Lizarius asked the system, "What kind of beasts are these?"
"They are called Moonlight Bats," the system replied. "They are Rank 4 Low Stage beasts known for flying high, reaching the moon ,They mainly attack with sound wave ."
Reach the moon? Lizarius thought, intrigued. Is that even possible?
He observed the Moonlight Bats with a newfound curiosity. These were powerful creatures, far beyond anything he had encountered before. The challenge, the thrill of the hunt, surged through him. He had come a long way since his humble beginnings in the cave. Now, he was a force to be reckoned with, a predator at the top of the food chain.
