Chapter 22 - Clash of Winds and Shadows

---

The Battle Begins

The wind howled around them as Fujin raised his arms high, the force of nature swirling violently at his command.

"You think you can stand against the winds of a god?" Fujin shouted, his voice booming across the mountainside.

Wukong smirked. "A god's wind? I've seen storms stronger than that."

Before Fujin could strike, Wukong's golden eyes flashed, and the very earth beneath them trembled.

Parasite magic.

It surged within him like a living force, ready to consume everything in its path. With a swift motion, Wukong extended his arm, and the magic reached out—finding the closest target.

A tendril of shadow shot toward Fujin, aiming to latch onto him and take control of his powers.

Fujin's eyes widened as the shadow closed in, but with a roar, he summoned a gale to push it back.

"You will not control me!" Fujin's voice rang out, his hands creating a barrier of sharp wind blades that sliced through the air.

The Winds Rage

The clash was brutal.

Wind tore at the ground, cutting through rocks, trees, and anything in its path, while Wukong's parasite magic weaved around Fujin, seeking a crack in his defenses.

Tian and Lily stood at a distance, watching in awe as the two powers collided.

"We're not going to just watch, are we?" Tian asked, his voice tinged with concern.

Lily shook her head, eyes wide. "Wukong's on a whole other level..."

"Can he really handle a god?" Tian asked.

Lily bit her lip. "If anyone can, it's him. But he needs to end this quickly."

---

The God's Advantage

Fujin's body glowed with a brilliant aura of wind energy. He was the Wind God, and his mastery over the air gave him an almost unlimited advantage. The wind swirled violently around him, forming razor-sharp gusts that cut the air with deadly precision.

Wukong was quick, dodging and weaving between the wind blades with impossible agility, but the god's control over the elements was overwhelming.

"I will not fall so easily, Monkey King!" Fujin roared, summoning a massive whirlwind that spiraled around him like a tornado.

The air became charged with energy as the pressure intensified, threatening to crush everything within the radius.

Wukong grimaced, realizing that he couldn't keep dodging forever. The winds were too fast, too unpredictable.

He needed more power—just a little more.

---

Unleashing 1% Power

Wukong clenched his fists, calling out to the very core of his being.

He reached deep inside, searching for the 1% power that had briefly awakened within him.

The golden aura flickered around him, faint but undeniable. His power surged, and the winds around him began to shift.

"Let's see if you can withstand this!" Wukong shouted.

With a single motion, he slammed his hand to the ground, and a wave of golden energy erupted from his body, shattering the windstorm that Fujin had created.

Fujin staggered back, eyes widening as the shockwave tore through the air, and the god struggled to regain his balance.

"Impossible!" Fujin gasped. "You... you have that power?"

Wukong's smile deepened. "You're not the only one with a few tricks."

---

Parasite Magic Strikes

As Fujin regained his footing, he suddenly felt it—a cold presence, something dark and insidious creeping into his mind.

Wukong's parasite magic had found a crack.

The tendrils of shadow wrapped around Fujin's consciousness, trying to seize control of his body.

"What is this?" Fujin shouted, shaking his head violently as he tried to fight the invasive magic.

But Wukong was relentless. The parasite magic wasn't just a mind control technique—it was a force of nature in itself, capable of manipulating anything it touched.

Fujin felt his movements slow, his power dimming.

"You'll regret this, Monkey King!"

With a desperate cry, Fujin summoned a massive blast of wind, pushing back against the parasite magic. His power flared wildly as he fought to maintain control of his body.

But Wukong wasn't done yet.

The Unexpected Arrival

Just as Fujin was about to break free, a second presence appeared on the battlefield—another god.

A figure clad in dark robes, the Shadow God—Ikigai—stepped forward, his eyes glowing with dark energy.

"Enough." Ikigai's voice was calm, yet authoritative. "This is my domain now."

Fujin, still struggling against Wukong's magic, looked up in confusion. "Ikigai? What are you—"

Before Fujin could finish, Ikigai raised his hand, and the very shadows around them seemed to solidify, coiling around Fujin's body.

"You're in no condition to fight." Ikigai's cold voice echoed.

Wukong's smirk faltered, his eyes narrowing. "So, now I have two gods to deal with?"

---

A New Threat Emerges

Ikigai stepped forward, his shadow powers swirling around him like an invisible storm.

"This is not your fight, Monkey King." Ikigai's tone was final. "The gods will not tolerate your existence any longer."

Fujin, now trapped by the dark magic, struggled against Ikigai's control.

"What is this?" Fujin gasped, his body beginning to freeze under the shadowy restraints. "I… can't move!"

Wukong took a step back, his mind racing.

"A new player?" he muttered under his breath. "I didn't expect this."
