Chapter 26 - Breaking the Chains of Fate

---

A Clash That Shook the Heavens

The battlefield was in ruins. The air burned with golden light, shadows twisted unnaturally, and fierce winds howled in chaos.

Wukong rushed forward, his movements now sharper, faster, more refined—his parasite magic synchronized perfectly with his golden aura. He was no longer just relying on his old instincts; he was evolving.

Ikigai's Domain trembled. His endless darkness, which had once seemed impenetrable, now wavered as Wukong tore through it like a blazing meteor.

"You…!" Ikigai's voice was laced with venom. His pride as a god was shattering.

Wukong closed the distance in an instant, twisting his body mid-air and delivering a devastating kick aimed at Ikigai's skull.

But Ikigai wasn't done yet.

"Enough of this!"

With a flick of his wrist, the shadows compressed into an unbreakable shield, blocking Wukong's attack. The force still sent Ikigai skidding back, but he didn't fall.

Then, from behind—

A howling wind-blade sliced toward Wukong's back.

Fujin had finally acted.

"Damn it—AGH!"

The attack connected. A deep gash tore across Wukong's back, sending a spray of blood into the air. He gritted his teeth, refusing to scream, refusing to fall.

He spun around, facing Fujin with a burning glare.

"You should've stayed out of this, Wind God."

Fujin, floating above, sneered. "You're too reckless. Even with that parasite power, you're still nothing but a monkey."

Wukong spat blood to the side. "Then come down here and prove it."

Fujin descended, his twin war fans glowing with divine energy. Ikigai, still in the distance, watched carefully—he had no intention of working with Fujin, but he also wasn't going to stop him.

---

The True Storm Begins

Fujin vanished—his speed in the air was unmatched. Wukong barely had time to react before a hurricane-like force slammed into him.

His feet dug into the earth, struggling to hold his ground. The winds around him weren't normal—they were infused with divine power, making them heavier, sharper, deadlier.

Then, out of nowhere—

A drill-shaped tornado formed above Fujin's hands.

"Heavenly Storm Piercer!"

Fujin hurled it downward, the spinning winds grinding against reality itself. If that hit, Wukong's entire body would be shredded apart.

But Wukong…

Grinned.

"You think I'm just gonna stand here?"

Instead of dodging, he jumped straight toward the attack.

Fujin's eyes widened in shock. "WHAT?!"

Golden energy spiraled around Wukong's fists.

But mixed within it… was something more.

Black veins of parasite magic wrapped around his arms, crackling with a mysterious, almost corruptive energy.

Then—

He punched the tornado.

And it shattered.

Fujin's attack, something that could split mountains apart, was destroyed in an instant.

For the first time…

Fujin felt fear.

---

Ikigai's Final Move

"Fujin. Step aside."

Ikigai's voice was low, cold, and absolute.

The wind god hesitated, his pride screaming at him to fight, but his instincts told him to move.

Ikigai removed his blindfold.

His true eyes—a glowing abyss of infinite darkness—were revealed.

And for the first time, Wukong felt…

A shiver run down his spine.

Ikigai wasn't just fighting anymore.

He was going to kill.

---

The Final Clash Begins

Wukong clenched his fists. His 5% power was barely holding together, but he had no choice.

This was life or death.

"Come on then. Show me what you got, Six-Armed Bastard."

Ikigai's smile returned.

"I'll erase you."

The shadows rushed forward.

And Wukong…

Charged straight into them.
