Sona was sitting on her bed, facing Kasandra, who was accompanied by her brother Greg. "I can't believe that the two of you are siblings!" Sona exclaimed. Kasandra laughed and confirmed that she and Greg were, indeed, siblings. She then introduced them both. "I'm Kasandra de Rosa Alasalas, and this is my brother Gregory Sabastian Alasalas. We come from the Alasalas family branch."
Sarah, recognizing the name, explained, "The Alasalas family is well-known as the owners of Coly Trading Company, which has been serving the Royal Family for ages. The company is regarded as one of the top five sources of business and partnerships worldwide."
Sona wondered aloud why such a noble family would be in the town of Feroa Village.
Kasandra explained that their grandmother lived here. Years ago, their grandmother had been falsely accused of bankrupting the company and was cast out, losing her title. Kasandra and Greg were also discarded as the grandchildren of a traitor. Despite their protests and knowing the truth, no one believed them, and they were mocked. Undeterred, Kasandra was determined to restore their grandmother's title and earn forgiveness. She had decided to join the Adventurer's Guild to grow strong, hoping that one day, her family would recognize them.
Sona was deeply moved by their story. Just then, Dema remembered that Greg's grandmother had recently fallen ill and asked about her condition. Greg reassured her, saying that his grandmother was getting better, thanks to a necklace. However, Sona pressed them for their true purpose in visiting. Kasandra then got straight to the point: she wanted Sona to become her personal butler instead of just a guard, which made Sona's eyes widen in surprise.
Kasandra explained that initially, she saw Sona as a tool for her plans, but after hearing about the necklace Dema had given Greg, she felt a sense of debt to them. Kasandra vowed to protect Sona and her family from the greedy, power-hungry nobles and those with malicious intentions. She also told Sona that she could attend the academy if she wished. Sona considered the offer and realized that it made sense, especially after defeating Zargon, an A-rank adventurer. She agreed to think it over carefully. Kasandra and Greg then said their farewells and left.
Juragan approached Sona and advised her to get some rest. She thanked him and lay down on her bed.
Four weeks passed, and it was Dema's birthday. Sona now had more money after defeating Zargon, but she also had an increasing number of admirers. As she went to the market to buy a gift, she was suddenly blocked by a group of people. Their leader arrogantly introduced himself.
"I'm Lazaku, leader of the Wolf Gang," he said. "I heard you're the strong Fire Rose Mage, Sona!" Hearing the title made Sona cringe, but Lazaku continued, "Rumor has it you're both beautiful and powerful."
Sona, unimpressed, asked, "What do you want?"
Lazaku smirked. "I'm here to offer you the chance to become my wife."
Before he could finish, Sona swiftly rejected him and tried to walk past. Enraged, Lazaku attempted to attack her, but Sona struck him with her wand, her left yellow eye glowing. She fired several blasts of flame at the remaining gang members, easily defeating them. Onlookers, awestruck by her power, began calling her by the cringeworthy title, but Sona ignored them and continued on her way.
While browsing the market, Sona's attention was drawn to a bracelet with a green gem. She asked the seller about it, and he explained that it was a magical bracelet priced at three gold coins. Sona paid the price and purchased the bracelet, as well as some food and other accessories for Dema's birthday.
When Sona returned home, she saw Sarah waiting outside. Sarah explained that she had come to help celebrate Dema's birthday but also had sent Dema to the guild to tend to injured adventurers. "She'll be back soon, so we need to hurry!" Sarah exclaimed.
Juragan, followed by Kasandra and Greg, arrived shortly afterward, ready to help. Neighbors also pitched in, and Sona thanked them all as they worked together to prepare for the celebration.
A short time later, Dema returned home after helping the adventurers. As she opened the door, she was greeted by everyone shouting, "Happy Birthday!" Surprised, she was overcome with emotion and tears. Sona approached her and said, "Happy Birthday," and together they celebrated with everyone, enjoying the special day.
Meanwhile, in the forests outside the village, a group of adventurers camping heard a rumbling sound. Alert, they quickly scouted the area and discovered a large number of monsters heading toward Feroa Village. The adventurers rushed to the village to warn everyone.
