Flip... Flip...
Sound of folding paper echoing within the book shelf of the Library room.
"Hm~... Hm~..."
Along with the humming Rilana, who keep staring here and there curiously, I reading books about martial arts and magics.
After reading and evaluating a book about sword technique, I closed the book.
This is my last book for today's reading.
Rilana's face immediately lighted up seeing I laying the book at the table.
"Are you done, Brother?" Rilana asked, seemingly eager to quickly go outside.
I smiled, and stand up from my chair.
"Just a while. I need to put these book back at their place before we could play together and try to spell some magic."
"Okay~!"
Already 1 week passed since my first day awoke at this world.
As you can see, I successfully—or rather, surprisingly, managed to repair my relationship with Rilana very easily.
Main reason which play role to lubricate our sibling relationship is Rilana herself.
Despite what I want and determined to do to repair our relationship, I never be man who used to taking care kids.
Even with Arcide Lilac memory and mindset as a kid himself, I still found it awkward when facing Rilana.
In other hand, Rilana is always take the initiative to start a conversation with me with her cheery and happy behavior, making it less awkward to me and so much helpful in the process to led back our relationship to as normal and lovely sibling relationship as before.
I descending from the ladder after putting back the last book I readed before.
Behind, Rilana is waiting me, smiling with hoping eyes of her, sticking out her small hand at me.
Getting what's she want, I grab her hand.
"Alright, let's goo~!" I exclaimed.
"Gooo~!" She, too.
Magic, in essence, is prolongation of interaction between Mana and the 'will' contained within the Mana with Elemens in the world.
Chanting is honestly didn't needed to spelling magic.
As long as you have the strong enough mind to imbue your Mana with 'will' solely using your mind, thought, and imagination, you could reach what so-called the legendary Chantless magic.
However, this way to use magic is inefficient and tiring.
The restrain your mind should bear while imbueing Mana with 'will' is so formidable that even a low-level magic, a magic to igniting an petite fire at the top of you finger—Ignite, is need a Mind as strong as a Mage that can use at least one or two Mid-level Magic.
In other hand, Chant is a way to use magic with words full of 'will'.
The restrain is minimal and, while using Chant is somewhag lacking in terms of freedom and control, is giving you more rapided process of forming the magic cause you not have to imagining your magic so detailedly.
With enough words full with enough 'will' and Imbued Mana you can use any magic you desired to as long as you have enough Mana capacity and mind strength.
Of course, magic I am talking about is the most basic, most normal, most famous, and the most widespreaded magic way in this world.
In fact, magic is not just limited to mere imbuing Mana with will.
There is so much, almost infinite, way to use Mana, just like how you can swinging a sword technique with sword but it's also okay if you prefer execute the technique with an axe or chair.
Well, left that aside for now.
"Lana's Magilac is Exploia, right?" I asked Rilana.
"Yes!"
Rilana nodded, standing at the center of magic training facility ground of Lilac County.
I recalling what Rilana tell and what Risa and the Novel explain about her Magilac.
"In case if you already awakening your Magilac, using your Magilac effectively while casting magic is so important."
I watch her from the training ground side.
"Magilac is not entirely about booming power to explose your enemy with single all-in attack. Magilac is also have the passive effects that will continuously enhance your magic after certain conditions met, in other words... " I said, giving a sign to Rilana to continuing my words with pointing her use my finger.
"Um..."
Rilana stroke her chin, pondering for a while.
Makes a situation where the kid have to use their brain naturally and frequently to sharpening their out of the box mindset.
Let's see... Are you get any conclusion from what I said before, my sister?
Rilana's eyes starting to focused.
She furrow her brow slightly, putting in an surious face that, felt more endearing and cute than anything.
A smile naturally take a shape at my face watching her.
"Ah...!"
After some minutes, she lift her head, her eyes widened.
Was she found it, her conclusion?
"... Use magic with Magilac!" Rilana exclaimed, seemed so proud and glad with her success in ingesting my words.
Her eyes locked at mine, waiting hopefully for any form of accolade from me.
Praising a kid with their success is important to build good habits within their life...
"Yes, that's right. Excellent, my sister!"
"Excellent!"
Day after day keep passing by.
Within this times, I studying at everything I could learn from the Library about this world.
After all, learning is one of my long-term goal.
3.Learning about this world(Magic, history, and everything).
The Swordsman that Father promised me to be my master is not arrived yet, but I already started my training.
In the morning, I would running one or two laps around the Mansion to build my stamina.
Because my body is still not fully grown up yet, it's felt so tormenting and stuffy to keep the routine to disciplinedly maintained.
There's is also some... Hm... 'Obstacles' I encounter within my attempt to building stamina.
"W-what! A-Arcide, what are you doing, all sweaty and dirty like that! Come back, stop running! Arcide! Arcide!"
"M-Mistress, wait—Mistress~..."
From Mother pursuing, who kept saying about noble shouldn't show this type of disgrace or something.
Well, she not mean anything bad with her bold pursue, but... It's awkward when the servants see me and my Mother running all away the Mansion around like that. It's a bit embarrassing.
"B-Brother, wait! Ha... Ha...! Lana too... Burph!"
To the following Rilana, who... Well, she just do all brother-brother thing of her as usual. She even once fall to the ground and crying.
With raw knowledge from books and some advice from soldiers and knights, I also have starting my sword training.
Swing, swung, all the way from morning to noon.
As long as my stamina still along me, I keep swinging my sword—start from basic slash, stab, and thrust, to attempting to more advanced movements.
Except from some the random rest day to befriending Rilana play along and the visiting to Lilac Lake Saturday with Mother, my days is utterly filled full of self-improvements.
Although I, Arcide Lilac, said to be talented, I don't think slacking is allowed if what I am aiming for is an grand goal like ruining the very story of this world.
How warm and full of affection my family is in this world only put more fuel to my already fueled-burning determination, makes me even more pushing and pushing my limit.
And, eventually, after the third weeks of my transmigration, the long-waited master of mine arrive.
