The air in Sea City is salty but the whole city feels very welcoming it felt a bit weird for Alex and Kuma but it was not something bad.
Walking around there where enough food stalls and a lot of people coming and going from the ships docked here it felt more alive then Starfall Town.
Although Alex did not forget to look for the guild building which was decorated with sea shells on the outside when they went in they saw pictures of multiple fish and underwater creatures.
There was one picture of something that had the upper half of a mantis and lower half squid whatever it might be it looks strong.
Well Alex decided that looking at pictures of creatures won't help his money problem so he went to the counter and put the mantis blades on table and got 20 copper.
With that he has 25 copper so hopefully enough for a room but not wanting to take chances he decided to take a look at the quests and he saw a quest that was interesting.
It was a simple gathering quest but it was of red seaweed and the more he gets the more he money he would get.
Alex took the quest without thinking twice this was just what he needed to get some money.
So letting the guild know he took the quest he left the place he had to go to was very easy to find as well he had to go to the beach.
And well he figured that if he goes where there sea is he is bound to find the beach eventually.
Finding the sea was easy and after that he walked for half a hour before finding the beach.
Stepping on the sand he noted he few people where at the beach but it could be because people are busy working so he went towards the water.
He noticed it was low tide so there was a lot of seaweed and some red seaweed between the normal seaweed.
While he collected the seaweed Kuma noticed something there was a crab and it was big and it seems to be coming their way.
(Hey Alex we got incoming.) Kuma let Alex know because taking a closer look at the crab and it was definitely was coming their way.
Alex turned around and also saw the crab and was not amused with its presence lucky for them the crab also seemed to not like their presence.

First thing that come to Alex's mind was that it has a weird name but looking at the crab it probably did not get its name for nothing.
So with that Kuma jumped from Alex's shoulder and launched a earth claw at it's shell wanting to see how strong the shell is.
When the earth claw hit the shell a small scratch appeared on the shell the crab stopped walking and put one of its claw in the sand.
Kuma felt the ground tremble a little the only reason he could feel it tremble at all is because of its earth affinity but it did not matter because before he could react a beam of water hit him from the ground and he was sent in the air.
Before Kuma could hit the ground Alex caught him and lucky enough Kuma was not to injured.
Seeing this Alex and Kuma became allot more careful with Alex walked left and Kuma going right.
The crab had to choose who to keep in vision or atleast that was what Alex hopes for.
The crab realizing the problem decided to put both claws in the sand seeing this Alex and Kuma started running and just a second after a beam of water shot out from where they just where.
Alex decided to try and go for a lucky strike and aimed his axe at the face which was blocked by one of the claws.
Kuma went for one of the legs and went for the place where the leg connects to the shell and actually cut through the leg.
The crab let out some sound which could only have been pain but not caring about it decided to try and grab Alex with his claws but he quickly jumped backwards.
The crab realized that Kuma was somewhere behind him but if he looked for Kuma Alex would go for a hit.
The crab decided to go with a last resort and stick his claws in the sand seeing this Alex ran towards the grab and going for the face of the crab was suprised to see one of the claws coming out the sand and block him.
While the other stayed in the sand and let out a beam of water behind him missing Kuma by a mile.
This let Alex and Kuma know that the crab has to know their position to launch his magic to be effective.
With Kuma going for another leg the crab became desperate and decided that Kuma was a bigger threat and decided to face Kuma.
Kuma who was going for another leg hit the claw which did nothing but Alex who decided to just do something which could be stupid.
Alex jumped and landed on the shell of the crab which suprised the crab just as much as Kuma was.
Although Alex just was suprised that he did not fall off the crab decided he needed to work fast and started hitting the shell with his axe.
It only left a few scratches but it made the crab trying to get rid of Alex but his claws could not reach the crabs magic would only blast him self and killing him before he could even hit Alex so magic was not a choice.
So it only could move around but missing two legs it could not move fast enough to get rid of Alex who was still hitting the shell which was becoming dented.
Kuma decided to get rid of another leg but the crab had a idea to get rid of Alex before Alex could crack the shell.
The crab looked at the sea which only took a second for Alex and Kuma to realize what it wanted to do.
