Continent of Valdorith Overview

 Northern Region (Morrath's Territory)Morrath's Castle:

Located at the northernmost point of the continent, perched on jagged cliffs overlooking the sea. The castle serves as Morrath's stronghold and the heart of his growing kingdom. Its isolated position provides natural defenses but demands tight control over supply routes.

Greythorn Village:

Positioned south of Morrath's Castle, about three days' travel on foot, just beyond Ridgeway Pass. Greythorn is a critical resource hub, offering supplies and manpower for Morrath's forces.

Ridgeway Pass:

A vital chokepoint connecting the north to the rest of the continent. Its control is essential for securing troop movements and maintaining access to southern territories.

 Southern Region (Elvaris Dominion Empire)

Elvaris Dominion Empire:

Spanning the southernmost region, the Dominion is a tyrannical empire ruled by Warlord Kazreth, heavily influenced by the enigmatic Watcher Malvaris. Its capital, Elaris, is a fortified city surrounded by fertile plains, serving as the heart of its military and political power. The Dominion's relentless expansionism drives much of the conflict on the continent.

Borderlands:

A rugged defensive zone filled with fortresses, watchtowers, and heavily guarded roads.

Fort Darakon, the largest stronghold in the Borderlands, acts as the final defensive line before reaching Elaris.

 

Western Region (Neutral Empire: Tyrras Confederacy)

Tyrras Confederacy:

A merchant-led alliance of city-states focused on trade and diplomacy. The Confederacy remains neutral in the conflict, profiting from deals with both the Dominion and Morrath's forces. Its capital, Tyrholm, is a prosperous coastal city with a dominant navy and bustling trade routes.

Western Wilds:

A dangerous frontier beyond the Confederacy's main cities, inhabited by bandits, mercenaries, and untamed beasts. These wildlands offer hidden opportunities and risks for those brave enough to explore.

 Eastern Region (Neutral Empire: Arcanite Consortium)

Arcanite Consortium:

A mage-led empire centered on the study of magic and the accumulation of arcane power. The Consortium's leaders value neutrality and knowledge, viewing the current conflict as an opportunity for research and experimentation. Its capital, Arcanis, is a sprawling city built atop a leyline nexus, where ancient relics and powerful artifacts are uncovered and studied.

Talsyn Woods:

A vast, enchanted forest marking the Consortium's border. Known for its rare magical resources and dangerous creatures, the woods are a source of both wealth and peril.
