When that kid's head was resting on my lap, I was really worried about him. His injuries looked like they had been caused by a hard weapon. But why would someone do this to such an adorable boy? that serial killer… He should burn in hell.
"Evan will be fine… Evan will be fine…" Atlas kept muttering to himself.
Atlas's face had become so dull—there was no expression at all, like he was hollow inside. He kept glancing back at Evan again and again.
I couldn't even comfort him because I didn't know what to say in this kind of situation. My fingers kept going under Evan's nose repeatedly, checking his breathing again and again. because he wasn't moving at all since he fainted.
I could see why Atlas was so worried—he loves his brother so much. For Atlas, Evan is his entire family, and it's the same for Evan.
