Eli had always felt out of place in the world. At 19, his days were a series of gray clouds, punctuated by brief moments of light that never seemed to last. He lived in a small, cluttered apartment on the outskirts of a city that never seemed to notice him. His parents were dead, and his few friendships had faded over the years as he withdrew further into himself.
School had been a nightmare—a blur of bullying and isolation. He had tried college but dropped out after his first semester, overwhelmed by the pressure and the nagging sense that he didn't belong. Work wasn't much better. He spent his days stocking shelves at a grocery store, his earbuds in to drown out the monotony. Customers barely acknowledged him, and his coworkers treated him as if he were invisible because to them he was.
Eli's nights were the worst. Alone in his dimly lit room, he would stare at the ceiling, his mind racing with thoughts he couldn't escape. What's the point of all this? Why am I even here?
He tried to find solace in hobbies but struggled to muster the energy. He used to read, enjoying the peace found in being in a new world but eventually, that turned to envy at those characters always having it figured out while he didn't. Music helped sometimes, but even his favorite songs couldn't drown out the noise in his head for long.
On the evening of his last day, Eli walked aimlessly through the city, his hood pulled up against the cold wind. The streets were busy with people rushing home or heading out, their lives filled with purpose that Eli couldn't understand. He stopped at a park bench, sitting with his hands stuffed into his pockets as he watched the sun dip below the horizon. The sky turned a brilliant shade of orange, but Eli barely noticed.
When he finally returned home, the apartment was as silent as ever. He microwaved a frozen dinner and ate it in front of his computer, watching a top ten list of the most brutal things to happen to a ninja turtle while scrolling through TikTok and feeling numbness as he watched a sonic brainrot video. He wanted to reach out to someone in the comments, but the thought of not fitting in kept him from typing a single word.
After he was done eating he decided to watch a few episodes of the 2003 Ninja Turtles on his couch before deciding that work tomorrow was more important than watching a series he had watched 6 times already before going to his bed
As he lay in bed, his mind felt heavy with his despair he knew tomorrow would be the same as today just like how today was the same as yesterday and he hated it. He closed his eyes, tears slipping down his cheeks as he whispered to the darkness, "I just want to change I feel so stuck."
Little did he know those would be the last words he spoke in this reality
When Eli woke up, he didn't feel like himself—literally. He couldn't see anything at first, but there was an intense sensation of warmth and a strange tingling coursing through his body he felt encased, surrounded by a viscous substance, scared, he tried to move only to feel a sense of dysmorphia like up was left and down was left he eventually got a hold of himself and moved only to feel some soft thing surrounding him, he decided to push through it only to see a brightness like no other, momentarily blinding him when he regained his sight he finally realized what had happened
'What the hell why am I a Turtle!?!'
Authors note: Well that was my first chapter tell me how you feel about it and leave comments and stuff like suggestions I don't really have a storyline plan but I do have characters in mind for stuff
Now if you want me to do crossovers then I might be able to, it won't be multiverse stuff since I don't think those are done the best and I don't think I can do better it would be a shared universe type thing and I wouldn't go in much detail about them just that they are around and maybe they interacted with a turtle at some point
I don't want to choose anyone too powerful as that could ruin the story the highest the other guys should be is like Danny Phantom or Gen Rex level bit yeah leave suggestions below
