Chapter 39 - Battle Royal 4

As hours passed, the arena grew more and more chaotic. The air was thick with dust and the remnants of magic and combat. The battle royale had reached its peak, and more and more fighters were being eliminated, either by falling off the stage or having their life bars completely depleted by powerful attacks. Teams began to falter as the number of combatants shrank, and what was once a crowded arena became a battleground between the strongest remaining nations.

The Collapse of Teams

One by one, countries began losing all of their fighters. It started with the smaller nations, those without the powerhouses or strategies to survive the chaos.

Ingrassia, whose once-proud adventurers were brought down by the relentless combination of elemental magic and raw brute strength from other teams. Despite their tactical advantage early on, they were outmatched by the overwhelming power of the giants and the beasts. As their last fighter was thrown off the stage, the Ingrassian Royal Family sat frozen, their hopes shattered.

Announcement: "Ingrassia has been eliminated. All members of the team have been defeated."

Ingrassia King (slumping in his seat, voice filled with dread): "Our finest warriors... lost. This is a disgrace."

Ingrassia Queen (face pale, clutching her armrests tightly): "What now? What will Beerus think of us? We're finished. No one will respect us after this..."

Ingrassia Soldier (looking away, ashamed): "How can we face our people? This defeat... it will haunt us forever."

Dwargon, too, met their end. Their sturdy dwarven warriors, known for their unbreakable defenses, fell one by one under the combined onslaught of earth-shattering magic and flame-breathing dragons. They tried their best to fight back, but the relentless attacks from El Dorado's finest swordsmen and Raja's unpredictable fighters overwhelmed them.

Announcement: "Dwargon has been eliminated. All members of the team have been defeated."

Dwargon King (staring down at his hands in disbelief): "How... How did we lose? We were supposed to be unbeatable..."

Dwargon Noble (face full of regret, muttering to himself): "I... I don't even know what to say. We've failed. The people will never forgive us."

Dwargon Soldier (looking at the arena, shaking his head): "How could we be outclassed by these... these beasts? Our pride, shattered."

The Sarion team, known for their magic expertise, suffered the same fate. They were slowly picked apart by the giants and dragons, who were immune to their elemental spells. The 10 Great Saints tried to help, but even their combined efforts were insufficient against the sheer power of the Barren Lands Giants. After their last mage fell, Sarion's fighters were done.

Announcement: "Sarion has been eliminated. All members of the team have been defeated."

Sarion Royal (pounding his fist on the armrest, eyes filled with rage): "Our strongest mages... gone... This can't be happening. What will we tell our people?!"

Sarion Advisor (clenching his teeth, pacing): "We'll be punished for this. Beerus will show no mercy. We've been utterly humiliated."

Sarion Soldier (sitting, holding his head in his hands): "This... this is worse than death. We'll never be able to make amends for this failure."

Beerus' Reaction

Beerus, still seated comfortably in the VIP section, watched the events unfold with a detached interest. His eyes were sharp, observing each team's tactics, weaknesses, and strengths as the weaker nations fell. A faint smirk tugged at the corners of his mouth as he witnessed the unfolding disaster for some teams.

Beerus (to his wives, calmly): "Some nations just aren't cut out for this level of competition. I wonder how they'll handle their punishment..."

He paused for a moment, considering the situation.

Beerus (leaning back, his tone slightly amused): "This is what happens when you send your best, only to find that it's not enough. I do enjoy the chaos it creates, though."

Public and Audience ReactionsThe public in the stands began to show mixed reactions. Some were in awe of the power on display, while others were in disbelief at the falls from grace of once-proud nations. As Ingrassia, and Dwargon fell, there was a palpable sense of shock in the air.

"We... we lost? But they were our strongest fighters..."Ingrassia Citizen (whispering to a friend): "I can't believe this. Ingrassia was supposed to be unbeatable..."

Dwargon Soldier (bitterly): "We were supposed to be invincible... And now look at us... We're nothing."

At the same time, the teams still in the fight were more determined than ever. The giants, dragons, and beasts roared in triumph, but the 10 Great Saints, Raja, and El Dorado began to grow even more focused, their eyes scanning for the next challenge.

Fighter Conversations and Growing Tension

As the losses mounted, conversations between the remaining fighters grew more tense.

Giants (grinning, speaking amongst themselves): "This is too easy. The weaklings are falling, one after another. We'll crush the rest next!"

Raja Fighter (watching as another enemy falls): "That's one less problem. But don't get too cocky. The real fight's still ahead."

Lubelius' Saint (breathing heavily, eyes sharp): "Stay focused. We can't afford to lose anyone. If we fall now, there's no coming back."

Raja Fighter (nodding to Hinata's group): "They're no pushovers. But we can handle them if we stick to the plan."

The beasts of Eurazania were also growing more excited as they tore through their opponents, but even they knew the strongest teams were still in the game. They had to keep pushing forward.

Eurazania Beast (laughing as he swings his fist): "The weaklings are out of the way! Time to show the others how it's done!"

The Turning Point

As the hours passed, more and more teams fell. Half of the teams were now completely wiped out. The battle had evolved from a free-for-all brawl to a fierce competition between the remaining powers. The fight became more brutal, more intense. Fighters now moved with an urgency that hadn't been there before, knowing that one wrong move could lead to their elimination.

The tension in the air grew thicker. As more teams began to be eliminated, the fighters who remained knew that there was no room for error. The stakes were higher than ever before. With Beerus watching closely and the audience's anticipation rising, it was clear that the remaining teams had to bring their A-game if they hoped to win. The fight to the finish had begun.
