The interior of the Paradox Dungeon was quite different from what Ryan expected, he had painted a magical and alluring sight in his head, but instead he was met with a grin and frankly disgusting place.
The interior was dimly lit, preventing him from being able to see properly, the horrid smell of rotting flesh came from the piles of corpses littered around him, off in the distance, he could hear the loud grunts of the beasts residing within the dungeon, and he could feel the cells in his body itching to run as fast as he could.
Ryan calmed his nerves, he wouldn't even be able to run if he tried, the dungeon had been sealed as soon as he went in, and the only way to break the seal would be to clear the dungeon, this was how beasts were kept in.
Ryan's eyes farted through the room, from what he could tell, he was in some kind of cave, but there were some strange differences.
The cave's walls were black, even darker than charcoal, and they seemed jagged, like scales, he raised his hands to touch them, and the texture was exactly like he had imagined, rough and dull.
"Huddle up everyone, if we want a fighting chance at beating this dungeon, we at least need to stay close." Jack said, he was the one with the most experience about dungeons, and he had naturally put himself in the position of leader.
Everyone moved closer to Jack instinctively, because they had little to no idea about what they were doing, except Ryan, the rest has only been in dungeons about 5 times, but Jack had been in a portal at least 30 times.
"First thing we need to do, is to find out which kind of beast dwells in this dungeon." Jack said, his domineering voice pierced through the ears of everyone, and they subconsciously began to accept him as their leader.
"Goblin!!" Rachel screamed, while pointing, her high pitched voice, piercing through the ears of everyone, and alerting them of the danger.
Standing before the group was a 4 foot, green skinned creature, with huge muscles, full green eyes, and a very hairy skin, in it's hands was a huge club, made from the same material as the caves.
The goblin roared in frustration, alerting others of the human invaders, who dared trespass in their territory.
The goblin charged towards the group with it's club held tightly in his hands, but before it could hurt anyone, Jack swung his club, causing the goblin's head to explode.
Three more goblins appeared from nowhere, each of them held different weapons, but they were all barbaric or simple weapons, an evidence of the low intelligence of goblins.
Beasts weren't just ranked by their power, but also by their attributes, goblins were regarded as one of, if not the least intelligent beast species, but that didn't mean they were harmless, what they lacked in brains, they made up for it in brauns.
A goblin leaped towards Rachel, but a distortion in space sent it back to its starting position, halting it's attack.
"Von, I need you to keep opening those portals, send those bastards at me." Ryan said, he had known Von for quite some time, and knew how his power worked, the same went for everyone, besides Ryan and Rachel.
"Tina, I need you to take care of those that Von can't send to me." Ryan barked out his orders with confidence, he knew that there was no chance of them coming out of this alive, but that did not mean he wouldn't try.
"New kids, don't you have any skills?" Jack asked, he knew they were young and most likely inexperienced, especially Ryan who has just unlocked his ability yesterday, but he needed everything he could get.
As soon as Daniel heard of the word skills, he remembered something in his system stats, a tab that listed [Skills.], be had completely forgotten to check it, but now, he has no other distraction.

[Cost: Passive.]
Ryan observed his first three skills, and his jaw dropped, not only coul he fire a thunderbolt as powerful as that of Zeus, he could also strike with the same force as Hercules, and move as fast as Hermes.
[Not so fast.]
[For now, your skills are F ranked, and are very diluted compared to what the gods could do, however you can upgrade them by repetitive use, or by leveling up.]
A system message appeared before Ryan, bringing him back to reality, even though he wasn't as powerful as he first thought he was, it was only a matter of time until he leveled his skills back up.
'And what is this passive skill?' Ryan asked the system, not only did the skill lack a rank, it also didn't have any cost attached to it.
[A passive skill, is a skill that grows stronger along with you, the stronger you are, the stronger the skill, and they can be used without any Mana cost.]
Ryan was about to ask another question, when he picked up something in the corner of his eyes.
A goblin has successfully snuck through his team members, and was now heading towards him, he knew if he didn't react immediately, he would die.
[Zeus' Thunderbolt activated.]
Ryan raised his hands, and a golden spark flickered around the center of his palm, 'Is that al...' Ryan was unable to finish his thought, due to the thick golden lightning bolt shooting out of his palm.
The cave suddenly lit up, followed by the sound of a deafening thunder, that drew everyone's attention to him.
The body of the goblin had been completely charred, reduced to nothing but charcoal, shocking everyone present, they had no idea Ryan was that powerful.
[F ranked beast killed.]
[+10 EXP.]
[F Ranked beast crystal acquired.]
"Kid, are you sure you are a summoner?" Jack asked, the red armored knights had informed him that the prince was a summoner, but no summoner he had heard of could do what Ryan just did.
