Shokal suddenly opened his eyes.
"Where am I"?.....
Big branches of giant trees above him were hiding the clear blue sky that was lurking over him. Birds chirping can be heard all around him. The thick grass he was lying on, was getting devoured by a rabbit like creature a few meters ahead. The big trees were covered with vines. Some were wrapping a whole tree like spider webs. Some little plants with different colors were occupying the trunks of the giant trees. Even some damage can be seen in the tree trunks as if some creatures tried to test there strength there.
Shokal tried to get up and leaned himself with a big root of nearby tree, that was sticking out of the ground near his feet.
He sat down and started to assess the situation. He looked around for a bit.
"The jungle looks quite similar to how a jungle should be" he thought.
"Wait how do I know what a jungle look like? "
" Who I'm I?"he questioned himself and replied almost instantly,"My name is Shokal but how do I know? " Shokal started panicking. All the memories in his brain were torn like a thousand pieces of glass.
He could not understand what was happening.Even his own identity was confusing for him . He started to look his hands his feet, felt his face with his hand. An annoying pain started to grow inside of his head.To him, It felt like someone was trying to come out from his head.
He grabbed his head with both hands, and closed his eyes to subdue the pain.But it was futile. The pain started to grow gradually. Shokal was gowning in pain. His whole face face was red as if the blood vessels gonna burst out. All of a sudden, a mysterious female voice started to speak with a bewitching voice in his mind, "you need to save them. "
"You need to save them"
" You .. need.. to .. save .."
The pain has grown stronger with every minute that passed. Shokal started to yell to the female voice , and said while crying,"stop!! Stop!! Please."
"I'm gonna die.. stop".
In a flash, it felt like the world has stopped.
Suddenly the birds chirping has stopped, the sound of big branches colliding with each other in wind is no more.. The pain is gone...
Shokal opened his eyes and lifted his head. He was in a white space. The jungle around him has vanished into thin air. The white space was wide as a small single room . The whole room was square shaped. Shokal was sitting in the middle helplessly.
Suddenly, a screen popped up Infront of him.He saw thousands of golden threads floating in the air , coming together and formed a transparent glass like screen Infront of him.The outline was golden as if it was made with gold.
Shokal was strangely calm in this situation. He was staring at the screen without panicking, watching how the letters were forming from golden threads. It seemed like it was someone else instead of him. On that screen,
There was a single message written in golden letters:
As soon as the screen wrote it, out of nowhere,thousands of golden threads came out on the space over his head and started entering his mind, vertically. It was a brief moment. After that, Shokal suddenly became aware of the situation he was in. He felt like somehow, all the information he needed on that moment was in his memory now. He remembered that he was from a planet called Earth, where he was present at its last moment. The goddess of Earth gave him something called 'Earth essence' and with it's power he got reincarnated in a different world. The female whisper he was listening in his mind was the goddesses."So, She was requesting me to 'save'. Perhaps,myself in this new world" Shokal thought. Sadly, He had forgotten the last parts of the whispers he heard before.
This world is a fantasy world where every ability is referred to as 'skill'. And he has a skill from the 'Earth essence' that allows him to store anything he touches, in this white space including himself. He can open a gate and go to the main world from where he came to the white space in the first place.
Shokal thought of opening a gate and suddenly a white smoke like round gate opened Infront of him. He went through the gate and now he was in the middle of the jungle where he was lying when he first woke up.
Now when he looked around more carefully, he realized that he was really in the middle of a thick jungle. Tall trees were All around him. Covering the sky with their enormous brunches like big umbrellas. Some bushes here and there were shaking ,indicating that some creatures were lurking under them. Strange sounds can be heard from a distance. The forest was calm and lively at the same time.
Shokal frowned and asked himself, " Can I really survive here? It looks more dangerous than Earth. Come to think of it, how did Earth look like?"
But no matter how much Shokal tried, he couldn't remember his memories from Earth. As if his memory of Earth had vanished from his brain and only an instinct remained in his soul...

Shokal sat down on the root, on which he was leaning on before. And started to make a plan in his mind.
"I'm in an unknown place. God knows what danger is lurking around in the forest. I should stay here for couple of days until I figure out things. Then I should search for a better place and maybe human civilization!" Shokal took a fallen branch from his nearby area and started to doodle in the soil beside the root. It has less grass than nearby area. " Right now my priority is water, food , learning about my skill and learning about the area. I can stay in my white space so the problem with shelter is solved. " Which was a big thing for him. He chuckled awkwardly.. who knew what kinda danger he would have faced, if he had to stay in this unknown jungle. Even in the day , he was not so sure about staying outside without any protection.
The only thing Shokal was now wearing was a white tshirt and a black trouser from Earth. He knew these are from Earth , from his instinct. He was not wearing any shoes. He was barefooted the whole time. " Maybe my power couldn't bear the weight of bringing shoes from Earth during the jump."he thought. Well, he was already happy that he was not naked in this jungle. Which would have been more problematic. He didn't even wanted thought about it anymore.
"I should probably go inside and learn about my skill now."
He stood up from the root and said ," open gate" and in a blink , a round gate covered with white cloud appeared infront of him. He went inside thinking he probably could have done it in his mind but he wanted to say open gate loudly and see if that work or not ...
