Armageddon...
The only word came to Shokal's mind , when he was watching the panicking Crowd in the streets from his balcony who were running from fear of the hellish sight in the sky.
The sky was crimson red.Which was getting black gradually . As if someone killed God in the heaven and made the sky get drenched in his blood.
"As if someone can kill God, scoff".. He was giggling like a mad man while drinking the beer that was in his right hand.
" Then why the world is ending today?"
"Does it really have to end today?"
He asked himself while controlling his urge to panic and cry like a little child.
Today was his first day after getting the civil service job. His happiest day in life after surviving this hellish urban life for 10 years. 10 years struggle of a low income family boy who just became a man today. For 10 years, he waited for this moment. His rundown apartment room, his '1 meal a day' life, his poor lifestyle was suppose to change today. He had faith in God more than anyone. He knew God is going to give him success. He waited patiently and continued his hard working life.Life was flashing before his eyes. His part time job at various restaurants, his all night study with a little sleep and his poor mum and dad who were supporting him despite their large debt at the rural bank, his gf who cheated him because he failed to land a job.He patiently waited for his life to get better. God did give him success at last but Shokal didn't know that his first day of happiness would be the last day of Earth.
No one knew what was happening. There was no sign, no prophecy , no scientific anomaly. From the morning the sky was crimson red . Sun didn't rise up today. When the day progressed the tall buildings, trees of the central park, cars, shops , lamp posts even humans started seeping like black goo from various places of their body that was going upward to the crimson sky until their whole existence in vanished. As if the reality is getting unraveled in thousands of strings of black goo and going upwards. People started panicking after seeing this horrible sight. There's chaos everywhere , people were running aimlessly to save themselves from this hellish experience.People were watching helplessly as their loved ones were getting disintegrated Infront of them into thin air. Echoes, sounds, crying, panic can be heard from every corner . No one had an explanation for this. But everyone knew the world is ending.
Shokal's body started seeping in the It's afternoon and left side of his body is not visible now. Just hundreds of thin threads of black goo going upwards from that side can be seen. His right hand still holds the beer can that he's sipping with a calm face. Maybe the cruel truth that he's going to die in a moment had made him calm in his last moment. He was thinking about the cause of this hell like situation. The childish thought of Gods death is really entertaining his half opened head.
" So God is really dead, sigh". He was imagining How God got betrayed by his fellow Gods who manages other worlds and killed him. And he's going to reincarnate in another world and have a better life. The life he could not get to enjoy here. He was laughing like a lunatic,
" Haha, just like the Novels I read all the time."
" God send me to another world I want to live my unfulfilled life! " He shouted towards the sky .
Suddenly , without Shokal's noticing, the black goo like threads of his left side started glowing like rich golden strings starting from the sky to his body. When the light reached him fully, shokal stared at it like it had enchanted him with it's majestic golden glow.
At the same time he heard a female voice in his mind, " Thank you for thinking about me. I'm grateful for all the time you had faith in me. Maybe you should receive it so that you can punish this injustice."
Shokal was surprised. He looked around him. No one was here in his rundown balcony without him.
" I'm I hearing things before death? Or is it the alcohol?" Shokal asked himself while staring at the beer can.
The female voice continued as if it is panting heavily," I'll be dead in a moment so, I'm giving you my last bit of powers. Save them and ..."
Before she could finish, a dark crimson light descendant from the sky, as the same way as the golden light , and exploded Shokal's half disintegrated body like a bomb before he could notice. Black and red goo splattered everywhere. It was a horrible sight...

The bluish soul orb of Shokal was in a dark space with thousands of other similar orb beside it. The orbs were all floating in that black space. A primordial darkness was devouring the orbs from all the side. The darkness was moving like a living creature and devouring the orbs like they were it's main food. More orbs were getting added to that dark space every moment but the darkness continued to consume everything in it's path. Moments before it reached the soul orb of Shokal, a rich golden light emitted from inside of the orb and the orb vanished into thin air .
