"Trying to escape?" Pteranodon Norman sneered in his heart.
He had long noticed that the upright creatures of this world were physically weak, relying only on some strange devices.
But in the end, tools were just tools. As long as he killed the upright creatures inside, no matter how advanced the devices were, they would be useless.
It had to be said that Pteranodon Norman possessed an exceptionally high level of intelligence, far beyond the likes of the dim-witted Allosaurus Noro.
Despite the short period of contact, he had already seen through the essence of modern human technology.
However, the fighter jet's outer shell was made of titanium alloy, and even the seemingly weakest cockpit was constructed with high-strength aviation glass, making it impossible for Pteranodon Norman to break through in a short time.
He quickly realized this.
But he did not give up.
If one plan failed, he would simply devise another.
Pteranodon Norman was a firm believer in this principle.
He resorted to another tactic.
Back in his world, he had a surefire technique when battling other aerial creatures—one that never failed him.
Using his sharp claws, he would seize his opponent's body and then dive straight down from the sky with all his might!
Most airborne creatures could not pull off such a maneuver.
After all, the majority of flying species had similar physical endurance.
If two creatures fell from the same height, the one below would be crushed, but the one above wouldn't fare much better.
It would be mutual destruction.
But Pteranodon Norman was different.
Ever since that extraordinary night spent with Parker in the Pteranodon nest, his physical abilities had increased dramatically.
Even if he grabbed an enemy and plummeted hundreds or even thousands of meters from the sky, crashing directly onto a rocky mountain, he would remain completely unscathed.
He was even stronger than his Tyrannosaurus subordinates, who had only undergone minor evolutionary changes by consuming special herbs!
Now, for the first time in this world, Pteranodon Norman unleashed his ultimate technique!
With his powerful claws gripping the fighter jet's wings tightly, he flapped his wings and forced the aircraft downward.
Under this immense external pressure, the jet quickly lost balance.
Pteranodon Norman barely needed to exert more force—on its own, the fighter jet began plummeting at high speed.
Inside the cockpit, the pilot's face was filled with terror.
The instrument panel inside the cabin flashed red, blaring urgent warning alarms.
He tried to eject and escape, but the ejection system had been damaged—perhaps unintentionally—by the Wind God Pteranodon at some point, making it impossible for him to bail out!
Boom!
Two massive figures plunged straight from the sky, crashing onto a transport ship near the one where Peter was located.
In an instant, flames erupted from the ship's deck, reaching skyward.
The soldiers who had been standing on the deck moments ago were consumed by fire and explosions—except for a few quick-witted ones who had managed to leap into the water just in time.
"Roar!"
Amidst the flames, a colossal figure stood proudly.
Perched atop the ship's bridge, his massive wings folded inward, supporting his weight and making his upper body appear almost upright.
His head was raised high, completely unfazed by the surrounding inferno.
That earth-shattering roar echoed like a declaration—the return of the dragon!
At this moment, his appearance was strikingly similar to the legendary dragons of sword-and-sorcery novels.
With Pteranodon Norman having destroyed a fighter jet and crippled a transport ship in the process, the military commander was furious.
After a brief but heated debate, even the arrogant politicians had no choice but to temporarily compromise with the enraged soldiers.
After all, when staring down the barrel of a loaded gun, could you really refuse to give it a shot?
The politician who had been assigned to "assist"—but in reality, supervise—silently cursed in his heart, already plotting how to deal with the soldier who had dared to threaten him with a weapon once this was all over.
But no one here cared about him anymore.
They had decided to open fire!
Two warships slowly adjusted their positions, bringing their side cannons to bear.
"Go grab your two little followers," Peter said, frowning as he observed the situation.
Pteranodon Norman let out a low growl and took to the skies.
He swiftly swooped down onto the deck, grabbing his two dim-witted Allosaurus subordinates—who had been foolishly trying to take on vehicles head-on—one in each claw.
Meanwhile, the brown-paper vulture had already arrived, carrying Gwen with him.
Peter shot out several strands of web, linking Gwen, the brown-paper vulture, Pteranodon Norman, and the three Allosaurs together. Then, he activated a portal to the parallel universe and flung them all inside!
Peter himself was the last to step through.
Just before leaving, he spoke softly:
"Mr. Strange, I'll leave it to you to clean this up. Please."
Far away, deep within an unknown forest, inside the Sanctum Sanctorum's Soul Stone dimension, the Extraordinary Doctor Strange remained expressionless as he raised his hand.
As he formed a mystical seal with his fingers, a surge of magical energy rippled outward, covering the entire Extraordinary Universe.
In an instant, everything returned to normal.
However, the effects of the spell had already begun to take hold.
The primary function of this magic was to blur people's memories of Peter, minimizing his impact on this universe.
Of course, a few individuals—such as Dr. Curt Connors, Dr. Otto Octavius, and Norman Osborn—would retain their memories of their agreements with Peter.
This was a request Peter had made before leaving.
Because his influence on this world had grown too significant, a bit of artificial intervention was necessary to reduce it.
The approach was inspired by the way Doctor Strange had handled things in Spider-Man: No Way Home.
However, while the Doctor Strange of the MCU's Earth-616 used pure magic, the Extraordinary Doctor Strange employed soul magic.
As for what exactly was erased…
The event that was most affected was "a person wearing a Spider-Man-like suit, causing havoc on the New York City cross-sea bridge alongside several dinosaurs, killing or injuring countless soldiers."
This ensured that Garfield's Spider-Man wouldn't have his daily life disrupted.
Even though Peter's nano-vibranium Spider suit was different from Garfield's classic Spider suit, anyone who saw it would immediately recognize it as a Spider suit.
Without protection, there was a chance Garfield's Spider-Man would be implicated due to Peter's actions and end up on the radar of British intelligence agencies.
Now, with the magical protection of the Extraordinary Doctor Strange, he was indirectly shielded as well.
"I hope you can break free from the web of fate and weave a new world—one filled with infinite possibilities," the Extraordinary Doctor Strange murmured as he gazed at the spot where Peter had vanished.
The remnants of the portal to the parallel universe quickly faded away.
By the time it disappeared completely, Peter had already returned to the Quantum Realm—this time, with his ever-growing Interdimensional Task Force!
