Chapter 2 - Adventure in the Age of Dinosaurs

The giant flying dinosaurs passed calmly over Shikama Doji's head, as if he were invisible to them. The towering, colossal trees lent an air of mystery and wonder to this era. It seemed as though everything in this period, from the smallest leaves to the largest mountains, had been created on a scale unimaginable to future humans. Shikama reached a tranquil river and bent over its clear waters. His reflection appeared on the surface, and he paused for a moment. The face he saw transcended human beauty—it was as if it had come from another world, flawless and mesmerizing.

Every time he looked at this face, he was astonished. Its beauty was unnatural, almost terrifying, as if it belonged to something beyond humanity. But this beauty came at a cost. He was now neither man nor woman; his gender had faded away, and even the organ that once signified his masculinity was gone. Shikama Doji sighed and leaned against the trunk of a massive tree. Anyone, whether man or woman, who gazed upon his face would inevitably fall in love with him. His beauty was like an EX-level skill.

Coming to this era had its advantages and disadvantages. On one hand, opposing forces, such as Alaya, held no power in this time. Humans had not yet come into existence, and even Gaia, the will of the Earth, had limitations and could not easily intervene. This provided Shikama with a golden opportunity. On the other hand, this era was ancient, and its ecosystems were still primitive and forming. Nevertheless, Shikama felt content with his decision to come here. Opposing forces would never tolerate an anomaly like him and would always seek to destroy him. A foreign entity like him could alter history in any way he desired.

From the moment he stepped into this world, he had sensed a mysterious energy surrounding him. This energy must be Aether, an ancient and enigmatic force. He knew he needed to study Aether further. This energy held immense potential and could enhance his spells or even create new ones. In short, Aether was something he needed to pay close attention to. The second priority was gathering information about the creatures of this era. He wasn't referring to the dinosaurs, but rather beings like Tiamat. The dinosaurs were likely Tiamat's creations. Her power of creation was truly astonishing. Shikama Doji stared in awe at the ecosystem of this era.

Shikama Doji began walking again. This era had a kind of pure, untouched beauty. Perhaps this beauty was the result of the absence of humans. Without their interference, nature could preserve its splendor. Over the years, he had traveled to many regions and conducted various experiments on the creatures of this era. In one such experiment, he analyzed the body structure of a dead Tyrannosaurus. An excited smile spread across his face. These creatures were truly extraordinary. Unlike the dinosaurs of his world, these beings were somewhat magical. They were ten times larger than the dinosaurs of his world, each one a giant in its own right. But that wasn't all; each possessed unique abilities, as if they were fantastical species from the future. This was exactly what one would expect from the creations of Tiamat, the Mother of Creation.

Over the years, Shikama had not been idle. He had gathered information about Tiamat's dwelling place. Tomorrow, he planned to go there. It might seem reckless, but Tiamat was inherently good-natured. Even if she intended to attack him, Shikama was fully confident in his abilities. If he couldn't defeat her, he could at least escape easily.

Upon arriving in this world, some of the limitations imposed on him by God as punishment had vanished. His ability to create was no longer restricted, and he could even resurrect the dead without constraints. These newfound powers had turned him into a being that even he sometimes marveled at.
