"My life was hell" These words echoed in my head as I ran.. my life had always been hell since the day I was born, I was the result of my father the emperor of Eglacia's affair with a fallen noble's daughter. My father was caring but distant and busy with making sure the empire prospers. this gave my stepmother the queen of Eglacia Ariadne the perfect chance to vent her anger on me. I also had two stepbrothers Valencia and Nikolai. I was different from them.. I had the ability to use far more destructive magic than anyone, because of my "corrupted magical aura". however I didn't get to learn much about that because of my restricting environment.
I was running from my brother because I had messed up really bad. I was always fond of poison's and venoms because I found out about the poison from all the times my stepmother tried to poison me with deadly venoms and toxins but I had grown immune because of my "corrupted magical Aura", and that's how I was fascinated by the different types of venoms and toxins, I had messed up by accidentally dropping a vial of snake venom on Valencia's shoes and I was in his opulent luxurious room because I wanted to look for my father who often visited him and show my father the poison when I had dropped the poison, I had desperately tried to wipe the poison off with a handkerchief of his but it ended up losing it's gemstones at my hurried panicked wiping of the shoe.
and I had suddenly felt a gaze on my neck and I had thought "A maid, a guard, a physicist perhaps..." but those were just reassuring thoughts to make my fear less... it was my brother and that's how I found myself running. from him in desperation. I ran into the vast gardens of the royal palace to hide and then I found myself running into someone.. I ran into someone who had long green hair mesmerizing red eyes and we both crashed into each other making us stumble into the fountain, making us drenched... her green hair was striking in comparison to my bland black hair, her red eyes were mesmerizing compared to my black soulless ones.
I heard my brothers shouts and whimpered as I looked at the girl in front of me.. she was saying "Damn It!..." She said as she rose up grabbing vials off the floor and shoving the cracked ones into a suitcase. I looked at her and said "I'm sorry.. I hope your okay.." I said in a soft sorry voice.
The girl looked at me and said "You ruined everything.." She said before mumbling "Now he'll never look at me..." She mumbled something I couldn't quite hear, I looked at her expression and I saw a hint of something I recognized as she got up and walked away holding the suitcase with two little hands.
I found myself forgetting about my brother for a second and focusing on how she looks, her white shirt, her pale skin, her green skirt.. she was a commoner but not like I was wearing anything better.
My brother closed in on the fountain and yelled as he looked at me. and yelled "You fucking piece of Shit!" He yelled as I looked at him, I was still drenched in water as I looked at him.. he was holding a stick.
