I looked at the lady in front of me, and took her hand hesitantly.
We made out way to the dance floor and she looked at me and Lady Edwina Wraith said "How are you spending your days, your highness." She said as we began dancing, She was swirling around in the dance dancing so gracefully.
I looked at her and said. "I'm doing great, Lady Edwina.." I said as my thoughts raced.
[This is one of my first times dancing, I hope I don't step on her feet.] I thought as the dance continued smoothly, she was so good with footwork that she made my bad dancing stance work.
The dance was going smoothly and we danced to the rythim of the music that was being performed by one of the most famous bands. I looked at her, her purple hair swaying beautifully and blue eyes shining brighter than ever.
As I was dancing my eyes landed on Ariadne looking at me from the corner of the room with a look that was obvious. She wanted to see me for whatever reason.
I suddenly looked at Edwina and said "I'm sorry lady Edwina, the queen wants to see me.."
Lady Edwina looked at me and she said "okay, I hope you'll give me a dance after your back.." she said as we bowed and walked away.
I reached the hallway queen Ariadne was standing at and said. "What did you need.." I said when suddenly her palm clashed with my cheek.
I held my cheek my thought were.
[Of course she did that.. if only I could change my life somehow.. wait, I could..]
I wondered but my thoughts were cut short by her voice. "Why are you mingling with the Wraith family.." she said as she looked furious.
I looked at her and said. "She wanted to dance with me.." but my words were cut short as she replied. "You know Valencia will marry the daughter of the Wraith family!?" She said.
That.. I knew.

I was at the royal palace hiding under a staircase, hiding from a couple of maids that were trying to bring me to Valencia. When I suddenly overheard a conversation with Valencia and lady Ariadne.
"Mom I don't wanna marry the Wraith family daughter!"
Ariadne immediately snapped back and said "you've seen how beautiful she is!, why are you declining!." Lady Ariadne said as she added.
"You aren't planning on marrying some low ranking wretch are you!"
Valencia said. "I don't like Edwina's behavior.. she's too headstrong!" He said as he clenched his fists.

Ever since that night I've always wondered how lady Edwina looked. She was indeed quite beautiful, I looked at Ariadne and said.
"I'll be sure to maintain my distance.."
Ariadne smirked and she said.
"Good!, don't do that again" she said as she walked off, I entered the back balcony of the ball since my cheek had a bruise on it now and Ariadne forgot to heal it...
When someone said "hello?".
I looked behind me and saw Lily, I looked at her and immediately recognized her, it was the girl I had run into that time, I said.
"What's your name..?"
I said as I looked at her, Lily looked at Eric and she said. "I'm Lily, what's your name?"
[She must not know me since the commoners haven't normally seen me]
"I'm Eric, nice to meet you" I said looking at her. She then suddenly said. "Eric?, I'm supposed to be your physician" she said as she held out the already made contract with my father.
[I knew this was my brothers doing, but perhaps this was something good, I was in.. interested in her and I needed help with my magic]
I looked at her and said. "Really!, that'd be great.." I said with a slight smile, then we started chatting on the balcony
Lily asked as she looked at me. "My father is the best physician I'm the empire.." she said before adding "one day, I want to be like him" she said.
I looked at her and I said. "I also want to be like my father, he is a little negligent, but he's a great man from what I've heard..".
Lily looked at me and said. "My father is also busy most the time" she said as she added. "However maybe if I can prove myself to him.. then he'll take me with him on his work"..
I looked at lily and I said. "Well, I hope you can do that.."
At that moment we shared the same exact thought..
[Wow, we are pretty alike]
When suddenly lily got an idea and she handed me a pack of medicine pills, I looked at her and said.
"What're these for?"
She said. "These are for your corrupted magical Aura!, I've heard from the marshall that you faint whenever you activate it, it's possibly because your body can't handle it" she paused before saying.
"Though it's not often that a magic is Soo intense that users can't handle it.." she said as if pondering something for a moment. She thought..
[I wonder what he's magical aura truly is.. and why is it so taxing on his body..]
She wondered.

The ball was finally coming to an end and we left in some steam cars, I was once again looking out the window, my father sitting in front of me, he asked. "You look to be quite deep in thought.." he asked.
I looked at him and replied. "I've just been thinking about the ball.." I said my thoughts were different of course..
[What was my ability.. what would I call it, it was so cool that I could live as other people in other times.. it's cool.. right.. I "love" this ability]
