"We have to act like a couple remember?" He said in an obvious tone.
"Right..." I laid down next to him but kept a fair distance.
"Do you even know how to be in a relationship?" He scoffed and grabbed me pulling me closer to him. He sat up slowly lifting my upper body up with him. He put his arm around my shoulder and put my head on his chest. My cheeks flushed red. I've only met this guy a couple of days agos.
"Ok they're here, act like you like me." He spoke.
"That'll be really hard then." I muttered. He scoffed. Suddenly a knock was heard on the door. Ian scooted closer to me before saying come in.
"Oh we're sorry are we interrupting, we texted you." My mom spoke with a happy tone upon seeing us. "Oh no it's ok." I replied.
"Well, you guys seem. to be getting alonged well" His mom smiled.
"We just wanted to drop by to see if you and Gaeun were right"His mother spoke again.
"Of course, right sweetheart." He looked at me with the tiniest smile I've ever seen.
I gazed at him for a moment before nodding and looking away. His fingers were tangled in my hair a bit. As our parents informed us of wedding details, I felt my eyes become heavy. My eyes slowly closed.
IAN POV
I was zoning out, listening to all of this wedding crap. But I soon realized Gaeun was really quiet. Suddenly the mothers began whispering.
"We'll be back later to pick her up." My mom said before leaving the room. I looked down at her to see her fast asleep.
She's always so tired. I stared at her for a moment. I tucked a strand of hair away from her face.
I slowly and quietly got up ensuring not to wake her up. I let her sleep in some more. She had to meet with my mom later, so she needed rest. I walked into my office to finish some work and I called a driver to take her to my mother, later.
GAEUN POV
I slowly peeked my eyes open to the ray of sunlight shining through the curtains. I awoke in an unfamiliar room. I looked around. I fell asleep. I face palmed. I'm so stupid! I left for downstairs to get some water and some fruit.
"You're awake." I jumped as I heard the familiar voice. I glanced at him to see him leaning against the door frame.
"My mom wants you to meet with her, so I organized a driver to take you." He was typing on his phone.
"Ok." I replied.
"The car will be here to pick you up in 20 minutes Soo, might wanna get ready." He said.
"Now! But I just got up." I whined.
"Chop chop... " he said.
I rolled my eyes. "Stop rolling your eyes!" He spoke. I groaned again in annoyance.
I got ready and wore something comfortable. I was meeting with his mom to organize wedding details. I really didn't want to do this. I was so tired and sick of my decisions being made for me. But what could I do.
"Ok I'm leaving!" I shouted putting on my coat. I didn't hear him say anything. I sighed and left the house.
I couldn't help but wonder what my life would be like if I could get to decide it. I didn't want my life to be planned out. But what could I do. Now I am forced to be married to some stuck up rich kid who doesn't care about anyone but himself.
