Kitty always thought that she was a plain woman with some kind of charm due to her pretty face. However, she had never thought that she could captivate such an important figure in the port mafia. The boss himself. She had always found Mori to be a wealthy man full of himself but to be an underground boss of some ruling organization like Port mafia was unthinkable to her. She knew that the power dynamics between them were significant. She knew that she was just a fly in his palm ready to be crushed anytime.
"A powerful man like Mori could throw me anywhere and no one would know about it.," she thought to herself.
Mori was her regular customer with an undeniable aura and charm. She had many customers asking her number and maybe even flirting with her. Mori was the person who had never asked anything except seeing her with an unexplained intensity.
It was just that one day where he had asked her name and she preferred not to say it. She never knew what cunning tricks the cunning had on his hand.
She couldn't help but wonder what made Mori heart swayed. Just my pink eyes? Or was it something more? Something more explainable.
They walked towards the washroom. Dazai held kitty's hand firmly as he guided her to the washroom.
"Loosen your grip.," she said, throwing Dazai's hand firmly.
"You are talking to an executive.," he warned, "Careful out there."
"You reek like a bandage.. impossibly rancid.," she said in a mocking tone. "Do mafia goons like you have a grudge against basic hygiene?"
He moved faster than she anticipated, slamming her against the cold wall. His hands caged her in, one resting beside her head. His voice was low, dangerous. "Just because you've caught Mori's attention doesn't mean you're untouchable. You're still weak—still his little plaything."
The words cut deeper than she cared to admit. Her chest tightened, but she refused to let him see her falter.
Kitty was furious how she was portrayed by him, "Be careful, Mori will be annoyed if you trample with his favourite thing, tamed dog."
"Oh, I am extra careful.," Dazai said. He leaned closer to Kitty and said, "you are really a sight to behold." Their lips were almost touching and it was mere inches away.
Kitty pushes away Dazai, he was taken aback by the sudden action of defiance.
"You are just as bad or maybe worse. A man like you... filthy dog.," she shrieked.
"Oh is that so?," he questioned, mockingly. He encircled his hands to kitty's form and said, "If I take you now and here with my male's strength?"
"You think I am weak?," she added, she stood tall - 170 cm tall, "Just because I am a woman?"
Dazai moved behind Kitty, his presence looming, his breath brushing against the back of her neck. The shift in proximity made her tense, a quiet storm brewing inside her.
"You need experience to please Mori," he murmured, his voice like a dark whisper. "Why not start now?"
Kitty froze. She turned her head slightly, her brows furrowing in a mix of confusion and unease. "What are you talking about?"
Dazai leaned in closer, his frame towering over her. His lips were just beside her ear as he spoke, his tone tinged with mockery. "I'm curious… how would Mori react if he knew how nicely I treated his favorite toy? Someone as pretty as you should know how to play the game."
The brush of his words made her stomach knot, but her anger burned through the fear. Kitty took a deep breath and kept her voice steady. "You think you can use me like some pawn in your twisted games?"
Dazai's smirk deepened. "Perhaps. Or perhaps I'm simply bored." He lowered his voice to a husky murmur, the intimacy of it making her skin prickle. "What's the harm in testing the limits of Mori's interest?"
He bit her earlobe lightly, and despite herself, a shiver coursed through her body. Her reaction betrayed her resolve for just a moment, and it infuriated her. She stepped forward abruptly, putting space between them.
"You can't," she said, her voice trembling with a mix of fear and defiance. "Mori would kill you.
"Will he?," he said, "Is there really any value to this thing we call living?"
Kitty turned to face him fully now, her pink eyes burning with defiance. "You're pathetic, Dazai. Hiding behind mind games and threats because you're too broken to feel anything real."
For a moment, the air between them stilled. His smirk faltered, replaced by a flicker of something unreadable in his dark eyes. But it was gone as quickly as it appeared.
"You're entertaining, I'll give you that," he said, stepping back and raising his hands in mock surrender. "But be careful, Kitty. This world doesn't tolerate weakness—and neither does Mori."
