Chapter 6 - chapter 6

Mori glanced outside the bright but tard cloudy weather of Yokohama lost in his own world. He thought as of how he had been infatuated with Kitty and what drove him so mad so as to abduct her and keep her as his possession or anything else by fair means or foul.

He had always believed that Love was a fickle thing.

He reminisce the old days. It was a rainy day, he had barely been shot by some enemy who wanted to avenge him, take down the boss of port mafia.

The boss of port mafia, Mori Ougai was a secret thing, it was meant to keep a secret thing, nobody even dared to whisper his name. He knew that he had been smart enough and there were many times where he'd been poisoned, almost stained, shot or something but those days were quite rare. Once in six months.

He entered the café, taking a refuge. He had been completely soaked with rain. His wet hair dripped with droplets of rain. He was grumpy and tired.

Kitty had been a barista but that day she'd been quite busy handling two task at once as a barista and a waitress. Her co-workers were sick and she had to handle the task at hand. She didn't complain because she had received double payments.

It was quite hectic but she had taken care of the job efficiently. The customers weren't as much as compared to other working days making the job simpler and easier.

Mori was completely drenched at the entrance of the café shop.

"Good evening, sir.," she bowed her head and showing hospitality. Mori wore an expression of grumpiness.

"Maybe a glass of coffee frappe to improve your mood, sir?," she asked.

Mori's gaze lingered on Kitty, his mind briefly clouded by the surreal impression she left on him. The pink of her eyes, the delicate yet firm way she moved, handling multiple tasks with a natural grace. His thoughts were fragmented, almost as if the weight of his world had paused at that moment, and all that mattered was her presence.

He had been through countless life-and-death situations, surrounded by enemies and allies alike, yet no one had ever affected him this way. Love, or whatever this feeling was, felt like a dangerous thing to entertain, something fleeting and uncontrollable. Yet here he was, entranced by a woman who seemed oblivious to the storm of power she was about to enter.

Kitty looked up, noticing his lingering stare. "Is everything alright, sir?" she asked, her tone still polite but filled with a hint of concern, as if she hadn't noticed the effect she had on him.

Mori blinked, the moment passing, though his heart seemed to throb unnaturally for a second. He forced a smile, his usual calm returning. "A coffee frappé, as you suggested," he said, his voice steady but with an underlying sharpness, as if he'd suddenly remembered who he was.

Kitty nodded and turned to prepare the drink, but Mori couldn't help but observe her from the corner of his eye. There was something in her calm efficiency, the way she maneuvered through the small chaos of the café with an unspoken confidence, that intrigued him.

What was it about her? What drove him to feel this strange pull, this undeniable desire to possess her? His mind wandered, thoughts mingling with darker intentions.

Kitty felt an intense gaze from Mori's blue eyes. She had felt Mori to be attractive and rich, he was rather charming and his voice seemed calm and soothing to her. Nevertheless, he had found him to be intimidating and dangerous. She thought that his presence screamed dangers and wealth.

Mori's smile faded slightly, but his gaze remained intense. His thoughts, once again, drifted toward the darker implications of what his fascination with her might mean.

"She's so beautiful.," the thought resonated in his head more than one time in his head but he dared not to speak to maintain his powerful presence.

Mori's gaze didn't shift from kitty at all. He loved how gracefully she had walked around café serving drinks, coffee and sweet treats.

The more he looked at her. The more he seemed to dive into the ocean of lethal obsession.

From that day onwards, he had visited the café and became one of the regular customers. Kitty didn't really bother about the lingering gaze of the customers.

Many had stared at her, teased her, asked her numbers. She brushed it off with her warm yet professional smile.

But Mori was not just any plain regular customer. As days passed, he wanted kitty to be his and only his. He would not settle to being just an admirer. He was not ready to accept that mere thought of being her admirer.

The power he wielded over the Port Mafia had never been about control over others' actions. It was always about control over everything—and now, Kitty would be his ultimate conquest.

He wanted her all to himself. He wanted her -physically, mentally and emotionally.
