Chapter 3 - The Order of War

As the knight finished his announcement he stood still and firmly right in the position, even while doing nothing the aura he he was excluding was so noble yet so formibable.

The villagers started to murmer among themselves wondering why they were looking for some on with such detailed description. They started to speculate and come to their own conclusions. Some speculated of the boy commiting a sin against church, some speculated the boy of having such large potential that the holy knights themselves had to come to recruit him while some young ladies gossiped about the knight's dashing looks and his cool personality.

While hearing the murmur and gossip the soldiers beside the knight were having a bitter moment having all the young ladies only looking at the knight and ignoring them completely. They were not only ignored in this village they were ignored in every village they visited on the way as the village was on the country side. Meanwhile the knight also hearing the murmur thought of wah the pope said.

According to the pope, This time the goddess of wisdom and prosperity herself has given a prophecy of a new order being established and the proxy of the god of the order has already being chozen in the outskirts of kingdom. Before goddess there was a being call the holy light who used to deliver the prophecy and once said that the goddess only appears when the news is so important that it can change the face of humanity. And this time not only was this the prophecy of new order but a whole new god who was unheard up until now.

After few hours of waiting around under the hot sun suddenly the sunny sky covered up with clouds making the hot sun bareable while a gentle gut of wind started to flow within the towns centre. At that time the boy with his grandpa appeared.

While walking towards their home they heard the murmur and after seeing the knight in the towns centre the boy's eyes suddenly glowed red and started to emmit an aura of holy power which was immediately noticed by the knight . After noticing the aura along with the devine marking on the boy's left hand he started to march towards the boy leaving the boy stunned and the grandpa ready to attack.

Arriving right in front of boy, the knight knelt down, seeing the knight, soldiers also hurriedly ran and bowed down to the boy leaving everyone around speechless.

While the noise settled the knight suddenly shouted

"THIS HUMBLE SERVANT OF LADY WISDOM, KNIGHT JULIUS GREET THE PROXY OF THE LORD OF WAR!!"

Hearing the knight the crowd went into even more shock as in their eyes the boy was no more than 14 and yet was being driven so much respect by the knight. The grandpa starting to sense a commotion starting to brew suddenly advised the knight's to come to their house.

The knight's agreed and went with the grand father and grand son to their wooden cabin. After reaching the cabin they started to talk with the boy and asked if the boy had have any revelation in his dream while the grandpa started to brew some tea for the guest. The boy in return told everything that he saw in the dream. Hearing the boy's dream the knight was sure that this boy who was sitting right in front of him was truely the proxy of a new god.

While the boy excited still worried for his grand pa as he was the only living relative of that old man. Grandpa was the one who cares for and provided for him from the childhood. Seeing that the child was clearly thinking something, knight directly asked the boy.

"My lord is there any matter that worries?, if there is then please tell me with out any hesitation it my duty as your guardian to ease your worries."

Hearing the knight the boy hesitated but in the end decided to tell the knight about his worries. He stated

"I worry that my grandpa will be left alone without me, as you see I am the only living descendant of that old man."

While looking at his clueless old man brewing tea in the kitchen right beside him while humming in a care free manner. The knight acknowledging the worry of the boy told him

"Don't worry my lord, we shall take your grandfather with us in the journey."

Hearing the knight, boy became happy and when the old man came to the dining area with tea cup on the tray . The boy joyfully exclaimed.

"Gramps gramps I asked the knight and he told me that you can come with us to the holy empire, let's go together."

Hearing the boy, he sighed and served every one the tea he brewed and after serving everyone he sat down, after taking a sip of tea he looked at the boy in the eye and with a straight face said.

"No"

Just a plain no with out any explanation nor anything. Looking at the boy any one could tell that the joy he was showing earlier had completely vanished and was about to cry. Seeing the reaction the grandpa took another sip of a tea and after sighing told the boy.

" I am sorry kiddo, as much as I want to leave the village and go with you I can't, I am the only dungeon cleaner in this village"

"Not only do I have to clean the dungeon I also have to make sure there aren't any monsters or parasites left, if I leave the village will be in shambles"

Hearing the explanation the boy still gloomy understood the reasoning behind his grandpa not wanting to go with him. Meanwhile the grandpa looking at the sky told knights and boy

"It's already dark so it's best not to travel now you all should leave tomorrow for now rest I will cook something for everyone "

The knights understanding the words of the old man agreed and decided to rest in the house. The boy stood still and just sipped on the tea and said nothing, not angry nor sad just disappointed.

Later on after finishing the dinner, boy asked his grandpa to make a last fish sandwich. Hearing that the grandpa usually loud said nothing and in complete silence started to make it. Even though no words were spoken the emotions spoke volumes in it's place.

Next day as the sun rose and birds started to chirp the knight and the soldiers prepared to leave with the boy. The boy who didn't have many belongings to begin with started to pack his stuff in a suitcase while the grandpa sarered the flower bed sorroundong the cabin.

As the time to depart came the boy looked around the sorrounding he grew up in, the village he worked in and the cabin and his old pops for the final time taking in everything for last time. As the knight and soldiers climbed in the carriage and started to depart, the boy looked back at the house he grewup in and the old man he loved, the grand pa stood in silence looking at the departing carriage with a slight smile on his face murmured to himself.

"Linda looks like our grand son has grown up, looks liiem he is destined for greatness unlike me who has achieved no greatness except for him"

While looking up towards the clear sky with small cloud patches and thinking of a women wearing a long sundress with long brown hair and large straw hat smiling and looking back to him.
