As the boy and the knight departed in the carriage. They went through jungles with beautiful water fall and rivers. While the senary was beautiful the sorrounding was not so much. As on the way there were many bandits and beasts blocking the way, but due to there being trained soldiers and knight it was not much of a big threat for the comfort of the journey.
After three whole days of traveling, the boy who was not so familiar with traveling was already getting sick of sitting in a carriage and doing nothing. While resting near the route, while the soldiers were preparing the tent, the knight came near the boy and while handing out a reddish liquid said.
"Here my lord take this tonic it will cure your head ache, it is the extract of ruby berry, it will ease your stressed body"
While taking the tonic, the boy looked at the knight who was undoubtedly powerful and intellectual and taking the chance asked the guard.
"Sir knight, after we rest will we follow the same routine? If yes then until when?"
Hearing the boy knight with a calm voice said.
"Do not worry young lord we shall soon arrive at the continent of wisdom, I apologize for the bordem but due to recent flood this is the only route available"
The boy sighing said to the knight.
"Don't be sorry Mr Knight, after all I can handle a bit of bordem, while we are at it can you tell me about the continent of wisdom that you speak so proudly of?"
The knight with a gentle smile closed his eyes and after a moment looked up at the endless starry sky and told the boy.
"The continent of wisdom was found around ninety one thousand years ago, originally the land was nothing but a breeding ground for famine, disease, poverty and wild beasts but with the help of our beloved goddess of wisdom and prosperity miss freya we were able to fight off the beast with the help of mana se introduced and with her gift of mana once the barren soil of holy empire Lydia became fertile and once the land plagued by disease and famine got a new life allowing the land to prosper"
"Ohhh really? tell me more!!"
The boy joyfully exclaimed while being interested and genuinely wanted to learn more about the history of the kingdom. Hearing the boy knight smiled gently and continued.
"The goddess being benevolent not only granted the founder with immense strength and mana but also to all the people at the front lines. It allowed our holy empire to thrive among the neighbouring kingdom till this day and to honour the goddess's favour we hold rituals and ceremonies in her name and the mana goddess originally bestowed upon the founder of the land of wisdom is now known as holy power, it has strong opposition to any power or subject related to famine, disease or any kind of ill intention, it is the sole reason why till this day our kingdom is free of corruption and is pure up until now."
Hearing the story, boy was mesmerized by the epic tales of the kingdom and it's long history. After talking a bit the knight bid young boy farewell and recommended him to sleep. After the conversation ended a sudden voice stated.
"Hmm, very intriguing indeed, with just a bit of nudge humanity was able to come this far ni wonder master was interested"
Startled the boy looked to his left in shock and when he turned his head he saw a raven sitting on his shoulder. Seeing the sudden appearance of the raven boy shouted hearing the boy shout raven also shouted and after both of them screaming back and forth at each other for few minutes the raven and the boy both calmed down after they both settled down the raven said.
"Sorry for startling you boy I am Hugin your spirit animal for now, I came here to assist you on the behalf of our master Theos I will explain you everything so let's go inside and I will start"
After they both entered inside the came the boy asked.
"Why didn't the soldiers and knight wake up after we screamed so loud? It looked like they are heavy sleepers "
Hearing the boy raven said
"Oh, I put up a barrier sorrounding us so no one could hear our noise and be disturbed by us"
After hearing what the crow said the boy felt a bit creeped out but dismissing the feeling he started to inquire about the raven's sudden appearance and his meaning behind the words he said. The crow while standing in front of the boy said.
"You see I came here to help you achieve a decent power so you can be presentable as the proxy of lord of war, as not only is lord of war very powerful he is also well mannered and has a good etiquette so I am here to reach you those sorts of things and as per how I got here, I was summoned by your seal on your left hand, which when you were thinking about glory and legacy the seal manifested me from your thoughts to guide you through your journey "
Hearing the raven's explanation the boy had rough grasp over the situation he was in and said to the crow.
"So you are my partner in crime huh, well let's do our best"
While extending his hand out. While he extend his hand out the raven looked at its both limbs each one at a time and after some silence started to peck on the boy's forehead saying.
"I Don't have a hand you idiot"
The boy while being pecked said to the raven.
"God damn you bird you can't even digest some respect come-on stop pecking me it's nit funny"
