Odel hobbled along, guided by Mrs. Irene, and returned to her room. However, the location of her room on the top floor made it difficult for her.
"I'm sorry, I can't walk fast, the wound on my leg hurts,"
"So this is difficult for you? No problem, Miss. I will help you," answered Irene, who then placed her palm on Odel's back.
A strange thing happened. Odel's body began to float as if being pushed by a strange force. In just an instant, Odel was on the top floor. The girl didn't even have time to scream because it was like the blink of an eye to her.
"We have arrived," said Irene.
"Gosh, how can that be? You!"
"Save your fear, from now on you have to get used to living with us vampires," said the woman.
Odel swallowed hard, she felt that this time she should just obey. She slowly walked accompanied by Irene through the corridor which was starting to look dim.
"There are lots of rooms here. Whose room is this?" Odel asked.
"That's Sir Emilio's room, then, Sir Daffin's, while this one is Sir Clayton's room," answered Irene.
Once again, Odel swallowed hard. She didn't expect that the three rooms next to hers were the rooms of the three vampires she was engaged to. Not asking much more, she quickened her steps to reach her room.
"Leave me here, Irene, I can do it myself. "Thank you for helping me," said Odel.
"Okay Miss, there is one thing I want to tell you. "There is no possibility of escaping from this house. This place is isolated. If you see many people outside, they are not fully human, so stay in this house quietly," explained Irene.
The woman left Odel in her room. Odel walked slowly inside, but a man's voice called her.
"Miss Odel,"
Odel choked, she was very surprised because Emilio was behind her without even the sound of footsteps. The brown-haired man looked at Odel with a smile, he was very charming. If he were human, he would definitely be the idol of women.
"What's wrong, Emilio?" Odel asked.
"Wow, it turns out you have memorized my name. It's not bad."
Odel was silent, she just looked at Emilio with a suspicious face.
"Ah, I'm sorry. I just wanted to ask how you are. Does your leg still hurt?" Emilio asked.
"Yes, of course. I just fell 5 minutes ago. Naturally, it still feels the same," said Odel.
"Ah, I see. "I just wanted to make sure you were still fine," Emilio answered.
"So what?" Odel asked.
"Nothing, I'm just asking."
Odel was silent, she just stared at Emilio, who seemed to just want to make small talk.
"If you don't have anything to talk about, I'll close the door," said Odel.
"Ah, just a moment!"
"What else?"
"You,"
"What?"
"You are beautiful!" said Emilio with a forced smile.
"Thank You,"
"You're welcome."
Odel immediately closed the door to her room. She let the strange vampire man stay outside. All Emilio said to her was indeed a compliment. However, it looked like the praise of a psychopath who was ready to finish her off. That's terrible!
Odel immediately locked the door from the inside. This time she didn't want to be disturbed. The girl sat on her bed and was silent. Like crazy, she felt frustrated by her dire situation. The fact that she was there with vampires who could at any time suck her blood.
"What kind of grandmother did I have? Why did she make a crazy deal with a vampire? Damn birthmark!" grumbled Odel angrily.
Odel stood up and walked over to the mirror and noticed the birthmark on her neck.
"No wonder I've always thought this birthmark was quite strange. Did they use magic to make this sign? Why should I? I don't want to die young!"
Like a confused person, Odel started pacing. She frequently looked out the window because she wanted to escape from there. But she started to swallow hard when she saw several livestock employees passing by.
"They're not all humans! Would I be like them if the vampires bit me? This is terrible! The former humans were like zombies ready to prey. Oh my God, what should I do?"
In her confusion, Odel's stomach began to rumble. This loud voice gave a sign that the girl was hungry. The girl immediately held her stomach and started moaning.
"Hungry! I haven't even had time to eat yet. Damn, why didn't I eat anything earlier?" complained Odel.
The girl started pacing again. She was confused about whether she wanted to leave the room or not. The food in her room had been brought out by Samantha because Odel had previously said she wanted to eat together downstairs.
This time she deliberately waited. Odel was hesitant to open the door to her room. What's worse is that the dining room is on the first floor, her legs still hurt because she just fell. She sat on the bed as she looked at the wound, a strangely colored handkerchief stuck to her knee.
"Damn, I'm sure they don't have plaster or wound medicine," complained Odel.
The girl opened the handkerchief tied around her knee, revealing a serious wound. If it is in an orphanage, she can certainly rinse it with sterile fluid or bandage it with sterile plaster. Odel couldn't get any of that. The only thing she could do was go to the bathroom and clean the wound with water.
"No blood! They will prey on me if I am bloodied! "They're all monsters," Odel muttered in frustration.
The girl wiped the wound with the towel she brought. She felt that using her own towel was much better than using Daffin's handkerchief. Odel wore trousers, she even wore two layers with leggings on the inside. Odel didn't want the smell of blood on her wound to tempt the vampires to prey on her. After feeling safe enough, she sat back down on her bed, holding her stomach because she felt very hungry.
Knock! Knock!
A knock on the door was heard, Odel's heartbeat began to race. Anyone out there could be a danger to her. Odel didn't answer, the girl chose to stay in the room without making a movement. If someone was out there, Irene or Samantha, they would have called for Odel to open the door. However, not this time! It was certain that the door knocker was not Samantha or Irene.
The knocking on the door was no longer heard, the knocking sound was quite strange, in fact it was only three loud knocks without any sound outside the room. Considering that the three rooms adjacent to her were the rooms of male vampires, Odel could confirm that the knocker could be one of them.
Odel sighed, she didn't open the door or do anything. She just locked herself in the room.
Day turned into night, and Odel never came out, because she felt hungry. She decided to sleep all day in the room. She was too afraid to go out, even just to look for food. Her increasingly rumbling stomach made her wake up after dusk. She sat up in despair and was shocked when she saw the table in her room full of delicious food.
"Food? Who's coming in?" Odel immediately became alert. The girl looked around, afraid that the perpetrator was there.
Quiet!
There was no one else in the room, the place was still locked from the inside. Immediately the hairs on Odel's neck rose, the creatures called vampires were almost the same as ghosts. They don't need the door open to get inside.
"Did they go through the wall? Can they disappear too?" muttered Odel, who immediately turned around again to look at her room.
"Come out! Show yourself! I know you're here!" Odel shouted.
The woman was still alert, but there was nothing in her room, only the window door was slightly open, which made Odel realize that whoever was delivering the food had been coming in through the window.
Odel's hungry stomach began to feel, the smell of food made her not want to bother. She immediately sat down and ate. Potatoes and roast beef, half-boiled eggs, milk, and water were on the table. It tastes quite normal, like human food in general. Odel ate with gusto. The last time she ate was yesterday, at least that's what she remembered. After Baron lost her memory, some things were more like hallucinations to her. However, the delicious food she ate was real food. Without further ado, she ate everything until it was finished.
"Miss Odel! It's me, Samantha. I deliver food! Can you open the door?" called a voice from outside the room.
Odel was silent, she heard something quite strange.
"Miss Odel! I deliver food! Haven't you eaten since morning!" calls Samantha.
Odel immediately remembered what had happened to Samantha earlier. Her eyes glowed red when she smelled the blood on her wound. That means Samantha is a threat. The vampire girl can't come inside.
Odel started to get scared. She was still silent, but before she answered Samantha's call, the vampire woman easily unlocked the door to the room and entered.
"Miss Odel! "Why didn't you answer my calls," asked Samantha.
