Chereads / Vampire Secret Agreement / Chapter 5 - The Fear

Chapter 5 - The Fear

Odel immediately got up from her chair, she stepped back in fear when Samantha entered her room. The vampire servant girl pushed the food trolley and was surprised when Odel ran away from her.

"Why don't you open the door? Didn't you hear me?" Samantha asked.

Odel didn't answer, her face was pale, and she was in the corner of the room.

"What's wrong with you? Gosh, are you afraid of me? "Don't worry, I just want to deliver food," said Samantha, bringing the food in.

Apart from Odel's frightened reaction, Samantha realized something else. The cutlery on the table in Odel's room surprised her.

"Why is there cutlery here? Did you get food from downstairs?" Samantha asked.

Odel looked at Samantha, just like the vampire girl who looked curious.

"Did you go out? Why didn't I see you?" Samantha asked again.

"No! "The food was there when I woke up," explained Odel.

"Wow! Are you serious? That is amazing! You are very lucky, Miss!"

"What do you mean?"

"One of your fiancés must have sent food to you secretly while you were sleeping! "Isn't this very romantic," explained Samantha.

"No! That's scary!" answered Odel.

"Hmm, but you finished the food," replied Samantha while straightening the cutlery.

"That's because I'm very hungry."

"That means he knew you were hungry, he deliberately sent food so you could eat. Very considerate!" said Samantha.

Samantha's face seemed to be blushing as if she was the one receiving the sweet treatment, while Odel just remained silent in the corner watching the vampire girl clean up the table.

"Are you still hungry? What about the food I brought? Do you want to?" Samantha asked, offering the food she brought.

"Just put it there. "I'll eat again later," answered Odel.

"Okay,"

Samantha arranged the food on the table, while Odel was still standing in the corner of her room.

"Calm down, Girl! I won't prey on you. "Earlier I was just a little tempted by the smell of your blood. I won't do it again," said Samantha.

"Should I believe it? If you don't prey on me, someone else will. "I am a human among a group of vampires," said Odel.

"You are a bride-to-be, no vampire will dare to prey on you!" Samantha answered.

"But that creature out there almost bit me today!" said Odel in fear.

"Ah, those humans? You wrong! They like to bully, but don't worry, they won't suck your blood. They just like to bluff and chase," explained Samantha.

"Were they normal humans like me? If a vampire bites me, will I be like them?" asked Odel.

"I am very sorry to say that they are normal humans like you before, and they became like that because of the work of evil vampires,"

"Are they like blood bags to your people? "You let them live to suck their blood?" said Odel.

"It's not like that, but you won't believe it if I tell you the truth."

"Say!" Odel asked.

"We saved them, they are humans we are caring for. "The evil vampires have sucked a lot of their blood and made them like that, so it can be said that they are here under our protection," explained Samantha.

"Impossible!"

"Well, you won't believe me. "I already expected it. I'll go first. I have something to do."

Samantha walked away, the vampire girl seemed reluctant to be asked too many questions. Odel is very sure that what Samantha said was nonsense. How could vampires protect humans? What is certain is that they are the cause of humans becoming like corpses.

When Samantha came out, it was clear that in the hallway, someone was watching her from behind the door. The man smiled when Odel saw him, he was Daffin, a blonde vampire man who was one of her fiancés.

"Mr Daffin, do you have business with Miss Odel?" asked Samantha, who opened the door to Odel's room.

"Yeah, has she eaten?" said Daffin, appearing to confirm Odel's condition.

"You must be the one who sent food to her! "You are very romantic, come in quickly and say hello, Miss Odel is inside,"

Odel, who heard Samantha's words, immediately ran. The girl quickly closed the door and locked it again from the inside. Not only that, she immediately moved a fairly heavy sofa to cover the door.

"It's a shame, it seems Miss Odel is still afraid," said Samantha.

"Yeah, I can understand. "Continue to be friends with her, after a while she will get used to vampires," answered Daffin.

Meanwhile, in her room, Odel made sure the door couldn't be opened from the outside. The girl also locked the window tightly. She didn't want the blood-sucking creature to enter her room twice.

"So the person is Daffin. He brought food to my room. He also gives me his handkerchief, but don't believe him, Odelia! He's a vampire! "You can't trust anyone here," muttered Odel, talking to herself.

The girl first sat on the bed, then she got up again, moved the large sofa in her room, and put it right behind the door. It seems that Odel still doesn't feel safe with the door lock, which is very easy to open.

"I won't let anyone in!" she muttered.

The night was getting late, the atmosphere that should have been quieter was actually the opposite. As if waking from sleep, the Doyle manor house seemed to come to life. Odel was shocked because she heard busy voices. It was as if many people had gathered in that place. Not only that, the sound of the flapping wings of night animals could be heard ringing around the place.

"What sound is that?" Odel started to worry.

The girl opened the window curtains a little, she peeked out and the light of the full moon was clearly visible from her room. The dark rice field area looks a little dim because of the moonlight. However, hundreds of bat silhouettes were seen circling the house.

"Oh my God, Hundreds of Bats!" Odel was shocked.

Black cars were seen coming together, stopping in front of the house and people dressed in formal clothes got out. They look uniform, with pale skin and predominantly dark clothes. They all entered the house.

"Who are they? Are they all vampires? Why are there so many?"

Odel was increasingly frightened, no need to explain anymore, that night there must have been a large gathering of vampires at that place. The noise downstairs was proof of that. Odel was getting more and more miserable. She didn't know what the vampires were doing downstairs.

"Are they going to do something bad to me? Are they going to force me out?"

Odel curled up, she sat in the corner of the room in fear. Just as she expected, a knock sounded on her bedroom door.

"Miss Odel, get ready! Put on your most beautiful clothes and come down!" calls Irene.

"I do not want to! You're definitely going to prey on me! I knew it! I saw a lot of vampires down there! Your party is definitely going to prey on me!" shouted Odel.

"No, Dear! You will only be introduced as the chosen one!" Irene answered.

"Selected? Chosen for what? Horrible death! I don't want to go out!" Odel replied, refusing.

"Miss Odel! You have to come down!" Irene emphasized in a loud voice.

"No!"

Hearing Odel's refusal, the entrance door started to shake, it seemed that Irene was starting to try to open the room with her strength. Odel immediately ran up the sofa, she tried to make the object as heavy as possible so that Irene couldn't get inside.

"Miss Odel! Open the door!" shouted Irene.

"No! I don't want to go out! Leave me alone, don't bother me!" Odel answered.

"If you refuse, I will enter by force!" Irene answered.

"No! Go away you monster! Don't come in! Go!" Odel shouted in fear.

The door to Odel's room moved violently, the girl held on to the sofa but, like a strong force of telekinesis, the sofa she was sitting on shifted by itself. The girl flew off her sofa and the door to her room opened wide.

"No! Go! Do not come close! Go!" shouted Odel, who immediately ran towards the corner of her room.

"Everyone wants to see you, Miss! "Dress beautifully," said Irene, entering Odel's room.

"Do not come close! Do not touch me! Stay there!" Odel shouted in fear.

"I'm sorry Miss, I still have to do your make-up! The guests have arrived and want to meet you!" Irene said, approaching Odel.

"No! Go away! I don't want to!"

Irene's eyes were bright red, drawing closer to Odel.

"Vampire! Go away!" shouted Odel again.

Irene moved her palms, and Irene's body slowly rose high. The girl floated about one meter off the floor and her wardrobe started to open.

"What's this? Let me go! What did I do wrong to you? I think you're a good vampire! Let me go, Irene! Please!" Odel shouted.

"Shut up already! I told you I wouldn't prey on you! You just need to change your clothes!" replied the butler who, with her strength, closed the bedroom door tightly again.

Odel's screams began to be heard. The girl was screaming because Irene forced her to change clothes.

"What did she do to her?" Daffin asked Emilio in the corridor in front of their room.

"Changing her clothes, I should be in charge of that," Emilio answered with a perverted face.

"How dare you! She will be my wife, don't even think lewdly about approaching her!" Daffin emphasized.

"Your wife? She is also my fiancé! She will choose me because I am more handsome than you!" Emilio argued.

"You call your face handsome? You're blind, bro!" said Daffin, not accepting it.

The two vampires were arguing ridiculously, while Clayton, who was downstairs, immediately went upstairs as soon as he heard Odel screaming.

The vampire man flew into a black mist that flashed quickly past Emilio and Daffin, opening with his strong telekinetic power and making Jeanice's bedroom door slam loudly.

"Irene! What did you do to her!" shouted Clayton, sounding angry.

"Sir Clayton, what are you doing? Miss Odel is changing clothes!" replied Irene, who immediately flew a cloth over Clayton's face so he wouldn't see Odel's innocent body.

"Oh, I'm sorry!" Clayton immediately turned around.

"But why is she screaming? Did you torture her?" Clayton asked to confirm.

"Clayton! Help me! I don't want to go down there! Please!" said Odel in a weak voice.

"Why is your voice so weak? Irene, what did you do to her!" Clayton was starting to sound angry.

The man turned around again and threw out his hand, causing the butler to be pushed towards the wall. Odel's floating body slowly dropped, and the girl lay limp.
