Three Peasant Dreamers

In the village of Centaur in the Kingdom of Erythoria, there were three dreamy children, one girl and two boys. The girl was named Beatrice, one of the boys was named Arthur, and the other Tristan, and the three were 11 years old. Beatrice's dream was to marry a normal man and live a normal city life. Arthur's dream was to become a royal knight. Tristan's dream was to be king. One day, the three of them took leave from their families and went to the forest in the afternoon. They were a long way from their village. While Arthur and Tristan practiced with their swords, Beatrice lay on her back on the grass and looked up at the stars. As Beatrice was lying on her back, she saw a big plume of smoke rising, and she got up quickly and looked around. Arthur, Tristan, and Beatrice suddenly started running towards the village. When they got close to the village, Tristan stopped them because he had seen the soldiers of the Kingdom of Norlacs, one of the greatest enemies of the Kingdom of Erythoria. The three of them went a little further away and hid behind a rock and waited for the soldiers to leave. It was almost midnight, and the soldiers were gone. It was like a declaration of war. Tristan, Beatrice, and Arthur rushed to the village to look for their families, but they had all been killed. Beatrice fell to her knees and began to cry. Tristan had tears in his eyes too, but he didn't show it. He went to Beatrice, picked her up, wiped her tears, and said, "There is nothing to do now. We can't bring them back by crying," he said. At that moment, Arthur saw his mother's clothes torn by the soldiers and his father burned. His eyes were filled with revenge. He wanted revenge. Tristan immediately went to Arthur and calmed him down. Tristan thought about what they should do next. The first idea that came to his mind was to go to the capital, Arvelhonn. He told this idea to the others. Arthur and Beatrice welcomed and approved the idea. Now a new life, a new adventure awaited them.
