Chapter 7: you seem strong!
As shirayuki walked into the room and towards a desk at the back she stopped near Yuuma's desk and sniffed the air.
"You smell like your strong i look forward to fighting you young jackle, i hope you will provide me good entertainment..." shirayuki whispered before licking her lips and continuing down towards a desk and sitting down.
"I could feel her will to fight, she seems like she is strong yuuma seems you have caught the attention of another battle junkie" asuna shook her head while smiling at yuuma.
Yuuma gave asuna a devilish grin " I can't wait she seems like she will be fun to play with, this princess sure is interesting and competitive, I wonder what other surprises she will have in store for me"
Just as yuuma finished talking to Asuna Mr karasuma walked into the center of the classroom and clapped his hands.
"Okay now young cultivators why don't we head down to the store house and get you all equipped for your futures, once we get down to the store room you will each recieve a flying sword fetus, a basic cultivation technique, storage bag, Dharma note papers and some school uniforms" Mr karasuma said as he headed towards the classroom to wait for us.
Grabbing our backpacks everyone of the students in the classroom headed down towards the classroom door to head down to the store house to recieve our gear.
The flying sword fetus was a treasure that all young cultivators recieved it was also their foundation, a flying sword fetus was not only a mode of transported but also a cultivators main weapon.
As the cultivators grew so did their swords and they would add rare materials and magic into it and it would change to a shape that fitted them best!
Not only could the flying sword grow with them but also held a small portion of the user's strength if it were to be broken or stolen it would put the wielder at a disadvantage, even though the user would regain their strength if their flying sword was broken it would take them awhile to recover.
As for the storage bag it was a small bag that could contain much more than the outside of the bag would suggest, the only problem was it could not carry living objects and food and drink in there would still spoil as normal.
As they walked down the hallway following Mr karasuma towards the store house yuuma and his friends chatted to each other about the result of the test and what elemental spirit roots they had.
It turned out that Asuna had pure light and lighting roots, as for Aisha she had a mutated fire spirit root and a hidden spirit root.
"Hey kai what spirit root did you get?" Asuna quizzed kaian
With this kai started to sob and compain to asuna "it's awful apprently I have a extremely high purity hidden spirit root, they don't know what elemental it is all they know is it is extremely pure, i told them it had to be a mistake there is no way I could be some prodigy"
After walking for what felt like forever they arrived at a massive store front room where an elderly gentleman sat behind the store front.
"Ahh Mr karasuma I see you have brought down a batch of promising young cultivators to get equipped for their studies at our academy" the elder gentleman whose name was apprently elder Sun smiled at smiled towards them.
"Yes Elder sun if you would be kind enough to help these young ones get geared up that would be greatly appreciated" Mr karasuma said
After they had gotten all their gear from the store house Mr karasuma led them down another set of hallways and corridors, as they got to the door of a giant arena yuuma could see a translucent blue bubble covered the doorway like a film.
"Okay children this is one of the schools great arena's where you can come to train practical skills and sword play, this blue film you can see is actually a powerful array barrier, any damage or effects that you get inside will immediately dissappear once you leave the barrier so your lives will lot be in danger most the time, just remember that it doesn't fully nullify the pain that you feel in there so please be careful" Mr karasuma explained
As he led them into the arena and they passed through the barrier they could feel a light tingling feeling that passed after a few seconds.
"Okay now kids we are going to test your physical abilities pair up with another student and we will have mock battles so you can test out your new swords and get to know each other better" Mr karasuma annouced
Yuumas eyes darted around his class mates quickly he already knew who he wanted to challange, and if he was correct he knew that shirayuki would seek him out as well.
"I hope you live up to my expectations young pup, it would be an awful shame if this fight was over too quickly you smell like you will put up a decent fight" shirayuki was standing behind yuuma smiling with a feral grin.
"It's would be my honour to spar with you princess, I'm sure I will be able to keep you entertained for at least a little bit, i just hope you will be able to keep up with me" yuuma flashed a feral grin back at the princess
Walking towards the middle of the stadium both yuuma and shirayuki bowed to each other before drawing their swords and facing each about 15 feet apart, Mr karasuma came over to the middle to referee the match.
"Okay now you two feel free to go wild just try not to go for lethal blows or beheading , and that you will still feel the pain even if the injuries aren't permanent, Start the fight!" Mr karasuma explained before starting the fight.
Yuuma launched himself towards shirayuki taking an overhead swing towards her, he just wanted to test her to start off with, shirayuki slightly swayed to the side dodging yuumas swing before stabbing her sword into the ground and doing a backwards roundhouse kick and sending yuuma crashing into the arena wall.
With a groan yuuma pulled himself out the rubble of the wall and rubbed his head that kick hurt like hell for a little girl the princess sure could kick hard.
"Aww come on now lil pup at least make me take this fight seriously now, you were moving so slow you were practically begging me to hit you" shirayuki mocked yuuma before she came charging towards him again.
Yuuma dodged Shirayuki's next strike as she punched a hole right through stone arena's wall, it was really going to hurt if yuuma took another of the princess's strikes.
Yuuma figured out if he wanted to survive this fight he was going to need to take it seriously or he would be taking a long dirt nap, with this thought yuuma sped up his fighting and adjusted himself to the princess's movements.
If he focused he could keep up with the princess and the longer he fought the more he adjusted his fighting style gradually slowly getting more and more strikes in, as the fight drew on yuuma could see a small opportunity and did a quick leg swing taking the Princess's feet out from underneath her and pinning her to the ground.
As the battle rush slowly begin to calm in Yuuma's head the princess slowly opened her eyes and grinned up at yumma before her legs locked around his waist and she rolled them over pinning yuuma to the ground.
"I finally found you husband! I knew you were strong from the smell of you, papa always told me it was my duty to find a strong mate and have lots of babies!" Shirayuki leaned down close to Yuuma's face licking her lips lightly as she spoke.
