A large cave in the blood forest
An ancient being's gaze penetrates the darkness. The giant blood red eyes stares at the mortals who rush into its territory. It emits the intent to kill. Until it's gaze lands in the mortal who emits silver flames. Shock flashes through its eyes.
Lance's pov
After I entered the portal, I was immediately met with a putrid stench so strong I was feeling the urge to vomit. "What the hell... I knew it was bad but this is too much" The trees had green leaves that were splashed with red. It looked like it was sprayed with blood. The ground was blood red, and there were bones littering the floor. The putrid smell of rotten blood assaulted my nose through my mask. A pond filled with red liquid was bubbling ominously as if it would explode at any moment.
"Uurgh." The girl that came before me even started to puke. Not like I blame her or anything.
" Well I gotta get going. Can't keep my bae waiting." I said as I imagined the thought of seeing her again." Haah, eternal Bliss here I come." I mused. "Wait." As I wanted to get going, frost stopped me. " What now, you frozen idiot." Amelia said. In case you were wondering, Amelia is the modified version of the system like program I developed.
"I can sense a presence."
"So?"
"This one isn't like any other. Its possibly a creature from the ancient era."
Hearing those words, I shuddered. The ancient era? Where emblems were normal and various creatures roamed the earth? Where the battle against anti matter originated?
"Only the primordial beasts can live this long. From the air it gives off, it is probably a dragon."
