Phoe's POV:
"Where is Jasper, anyway?" I ask as Jo and Noah are helping me clean up the mess around the house.
The entire living room and kitchen were in complete disarray. Thankfully, we have most of it cleaned up.
We will still need to replace Jasper's bedroom door, but that could wait.
His car was gone, so I knew that he had to be traveling somewhere outside the settlement. He often took his bike or the bus if he had to go anywhere within the settlement that was too far.
I looked at Noah, waiting for an answer, when he shrugged.
"He said he was going after something to help with your heat." His voice was nonchalant.
Raphael had to head back to his camp to deal with the wolves that had attacked me. I still can't believe it was his own warriors. I'm certain that I couldn't scent his pack at all.
He reassured me a thousand times before he left that my heat would be fine for a while.
