Raph's POV:
"Noah will step in if we don't. He can only handle so much of her pain before he will make sure that she doesn't continue to suffer." Jasper bit his lip before continuing.
"Noah was made specifically to protect Phoe from pain. His urge to fulfill the desire she has is because it's causing her pain... it can only last so long." Jasper has only told me a small bit about Noah being her Guardian, and some things were starting to click.
I knew he was being serious.
Noah's jaw was clenched as he stared at Phoenix, his chest heaving up and down.
A soft white glow was emanating from him.
I had no idea what that meant for us, but I knew Noah didn't deserve to be in this position for a second time.
"Noah, leave. We will take care of her." This response elicits a whimper from Phoenix.
God dammit, she doesn't trust us.
I grab her hand and look at her.
