Noah's POV:
"Can you not just heal her?" a man's voice said, staring into me as I sat, catching my breath. Raph was doing whatever weird mate thing to Phoenix; I'm guessing to try and heal her.
The man just stood there staring at me. I looked around to see if he was talking to someone else when I returned my eyes to his.
"Hello? Did you hear me? Why are you not healing her? Is she not your ens peculiare*?" He sounded annoyed, and I looked around again to ensure I didn't somehow miss another person standing behind me that he could be talking to.
"He doesn't know." My gaze shifted to Jo, who was now speaking to this weird man who scoffed in response. "I wasn't positive myself, to be honest," Jo added.
What the hell are they talking about?
