Kodak walks out of his bedroom, wearing a black and blue jacket, white t-shirt, dark grey jeans, and black high-top sneakers.
Kodak then walks out the front door and texts his mother that he will go to a friend's house.
As he walks across the sidewalk, he hears loud noises from a house to his right. He then looks through the windows and sees Fumiko and a blonde-haired girl in the same house.
He tries to ignore it but hears a loud crashing sound, Followed by a loud feminine scream.
"(Shit! What the hell's going on?!)"
Kodak thought to himself as he ran up to the house. He slammed his fist on the door, and the screaming abruptly stopped. A man then kicked the door off the hinges, catching Kodak off guard. But he dodged it easily by ducking low. A voice then yelled at Kodak with great intensity.
"THE HELL DO YOU WANT YOU FUCKING BRAT!"
Kodak then looks up after dodging the door. The man was tall and was wearing a fancy robe. He was tall and fat, especially his face.
Kodak then looks behind the man and sees Fumiko covered in bruises, Blood then starts dripping from her forehead. The blonde-haired next to her was not quite as bruised but she was badly hurt. Kodak's emotions change from calm and collected, To anger and the readiness to fight this fat bastard in front of him.
The man then yells at Kodak again.
"HEY DO YOU KNOW WHO YOU'RE MESSING WITH, I'M ZANKOKU HARUKA!"
A vein then bursts through Kodak's neck, He then briefly looks at the girls before brutally punching Zankoku with the intent to brutal wound, but not kill. Their eyes seemed desperate for help. But at the same time was terrified by what was to come if Kodak were to fight.
But it doesn't stop Kodak's resolve, as he punches Zankoku. Kodak then stops suddenly, His face and hands are covered with blood. He then steps over to Zankoku and goes to Fumiko and the blonde-haired girl beside her. They sat on their knees while restrained with ropes around their hands and ankles.
Kodak grabs a pocket knife from his left pocket, swiping the blade across their restraints, instantly cutting through it with ease. Both of the girls stand up. Fumiko looked at Kodak and tried saying something but Zankoku stood up and rushed at Kodak.
"YOU GODDAMMED BRAT!"
He roared ferociously, Like a tiger calling out to their prey.
Kodak then turns around and is met by a tackle tearing through the house's walls. Kodak struggles to escape from Zankoku's grip.
He begins to slip through the grip Zankoku has on him.
He then maneuvers through and underneath, sliding under his opponent's legs, and grabs Zankoku by the throat, Putting him in a chokehold.
"This brat's strength is even stronger than my own, Even though I have a clear advantage in weight and height?!"
Zankoku then tries grabbing Kodak by his jacket but Kodak bites his hand, and blood pours out of Zankoku's hand profusely.
The girls run to where Kodak is fighting, Shocked by the fact he's able to overpower Zankoku.
Kodak then tightened his grip and said a couple of words to Zankoku.
"You're just trash."
Kodak then begins to pick up Zankoku and performs a suplex on him, knocking him out cold.
Fumiko then walks over to Kodak, hugging him tightly.
Kodak feels Fumiko begin to shake a little bit, he places his hand on her head.
His hand was rough but gentle at the same time and for the first time in years, Fumiko Haruka feels safe.
Kodak then looks at his watch, quickly realizing where he had to go in the first place.
"Aw crap, I gotta get to Ashiro's place."
Kodak mutters under his breath.
He then starts sprinting over to Ashiro's house.
"See ya later Fumiko!"
Kodak says while running across the street.
[5 Minutes later...]
Kodak continues running until he sees a house with a decorated roof. He walks up to the house and rings the doorbell, which rings in a high-pitched, cheerful tone.
When the door opens, Kodak sees Ashiro with Atsuo holding his brother's hand. He looks behind Ashiro and sees a girl slightly taller than Atsuo.
"HEY! WHO ARE YOU!"
The girl yells while pointing at Kodak.
Ashiro gently pulls the girl back by her shirt.
"Sorry about that my sis can be a bit much sometimes."
Ashiro apologies while wearing a laid-back expression.
He then nudges his sister forward, She looks at Kodak embarrassed.
"Sorry for the misunderstanding Kodak. My name is Nao Tensai."
Nao says while having an embarrassed blush, giving Ashiro an angry look.
Kodak chuckles and glances behind Ashiro for a quick moment. He sees two adults. One is a tall man with black hair dressed in jeans and a red long-sleeve shirt. He then extends his hand to a woman sitting on the couch. She has white silky hair, almost like the moon is illuminating the living room. She wears a light blue blouse, a white T-shirt, and dark jeans underneath.
Kodak looked at the woman closer. Her eyes were so deep blue that they made the flowers in the room next to her seem underwhelming.
She then takes the man's hand and sits down on the couch. It seems as though she is very sick. But it didn't change the fact she reminded Kodak of something. He then pondered on why this woman seemed so damn nostalgic, He then realized that the reason it seemed that way was cause it was very reminiscent of his family interacted with one another. His father helping his frail mother, and his sister is almost the same as Ashiro's.
The man then looked to his right, looking straight at Kodak. His eyes were dark red, almost like blood. However, his face was softly expressioned, and his demeanor eluded pure kindness. This man was no doubt a martial artist, just like Ashiro. However, it seemed he had no intentions of fighting. It was like he stopped for some reason.
Kodak removes his shoes at the front door and sets them on a shoe rack next to his right. The rack had various name tags, Satsujin, Ashiro, Aiya, Nao, and Atsuo.
Kodak then walked over to the table, which was covered with delicious foods, such as onigiri, fried rice, katsu chicken, and more.
"This food looks great Ashiro. Who made this?
Kodak asks with his eyes staring even further into the food.
Ashiro smirks and nudges his elbow into Kodak's side.
"Why don't you marry it then."
Ashiro says with a smug expression on his face.
Kodak then puts an arm around Ashiro, tightening his grip almost immediately and giving him a harsh nuggie.
Ashiro squirms a bit trying to break out of it. Kodak then smirks at him.
"You gonna apologize Ashiro-San."
Ashiro then starts apologizing, muffled by Kodak's arm. His voice is barely heard, but Kodak releases Ashiro regardless.
The two of them then sit down and join Ashiro's family.
The man then suddenly calls out to Kodak. His voice was kinda deep but was kind.
"I'm sorry for not introducing myself or my wife earlier. My name is Satsujin Tensai. You can call me Jin-San for short."
The woman then speaks after Satsujin, her voice is slightly strained but is still calming to one's self, similar to his mother Dal-hee.
"My name is Aiya Tensai, I am Ashiro's mother. He's told me quite a lot about you."
Kodak then questions what Aiya means by asking Ashiro to tell a lot about him.
Aiya then smiles a little bit and then opens her mouth to speak.
"The fact you're from a martial family in Seoul just ours. You're also kind and just, unlike most martial artists nowadays."
Kodak hears this and glances over to Ashiro. The amount of things he heard Ashiro say about him, Made him smile slightly.
"Thank you very much Aiya-San."
Kodak says while slightly bowing his head at the table.
Satsujin then looks at the Kodak.
"He's bowing his head to a martial family he doesn't know well. He's too damn kind. But he doesn't need to be in the martial arts world. He's just a kid."
Kodak shakes Ashiro's hand and thanks him for the wonderful meal and meeting his family.
"Anytime Kodak."
Ashiro says, shaking Kodak's hand. He waves goodbye to the Tensai family and returns to his house.
As he walks down the sidewalk Kodak then sees Fumiko with that blonde-haired girl again, Was she waiting for him? Either way, it would have been inconvenient for him if she had seen him with his family. So Kodak ignores her and continues walking, Fumiko then looks at Kodak, and her face blushes red.
"I-idiot."
She mutters under her breath.
The girl next to Fumiko then looks at Kodak.
"(How come Fumiko's interested in a guy like him?)"
Kodak then opens the door, His sister immediately tackles him. And Dal-Hee, His mother welcomes him home.
"Get the hell off me!"
Kodak yells with hints of frustration in his voice. Akuma is shoved off him, Kodak then gets up, dusting off his jeans.
"Jeez, You're so mean, big bro."
Akuma exclaims with a pouty face, trying desperately to make her brother feel guilty.
Kodak then ignores this and begins walking up the stairs, tired from Ashiro's family.
He begins to wonder something about Satsujin's wife Aiya Tensai. She seemed sick but the symptoms were nothing like modern-day sickness.
It was like something else was killing her.
Kodak ignores it and prepares to go to sleep.
