The sun was setting over Eldrid City as Kaida and the six kings gathered in the courtyard. The air was filled with clanging steel and the murmur of voices as the relief force prepared to depart.
Kaida, dressed in her armour and carrying her sword, stood proud and tall before the soldiers. As she raised her hand, the relief force fell silent. "We ride to Brindlemark tonight, to defend our people against the dark creatures that threatens them. We will not falter, we will not fall!", she addressed them, her voice ringing out across the courtyard.
Asher's eyes narrowed, his jaw clenched in determination."We'll not let our people be harmed by those creatures", he growled.
Lyrien's face was set in a calm, serene expression. "We will protect our people, and we will defend our land", he said, his voice steady.
Ryder grinned, his eyes flashing with excitement."I'm ready to ride into battle and kick some dark creature butt!", he exclaimed.
"Really Ryder? We are going on a war, and here you are excited to kill those creatures", Kieran said looking at him strangely. Ryder was bewildered by what Kieran said. "But I really will kick their ugly butts!", he said confidently patting his chest. "Why are you looking at me like that, did I say something wrong?", he said after a while, scratching his head in confusion. "And this is why you are a brute who only knows how to go to wars and kill enemies", Kieran said, his face showing disdain for Ryder.
The others showed a helpless expression on their faces, chuckled and shook their heads at their antics.
"Anyways, we'll show those creatures the true meaning of fear", Kieran snarled.
Erien's eyes shone with a soft, ethereal light. "We will protect our people, and we will protect our land", he said, his voice gentle.
The soldiers cheered loudly, their faces set with determination to defeat the creatures and protect their kingdom.
As the relief force rode out of the city, Kaida felt a sense of pride and purpose. She knew that the road ahead would be fraught with danger, but she was ready to face whatever challenges lay in store.
The journey to Brindlemark was long and arduous, but the relief force pressed on, driven by their determination to protect their people. As they rode, the mist surrounding them became thicker and the air growing colder and menacing as they drew closer to Brindlemark.
Suddenly, a faint cry echoed through the night. "Help! Help us please!"
Kaida's heart leapt with concern. "That sounds like a villager", she said, spurring her horse forward.
The relief force followed closely behind, their swords at the ready. As they created a small hill, they saw a group of villagers huddled together, surrounded by a pack of snarling, slavering creatures.
Kaida charged forward, her sword flashing in the moonlight. "For Eldrador!", she cried out, her voice ringing out across the landscape.
