Chapter 1 - We Won't Sign

The sounds of live music echoed all around the vicinity. Cheerful sounds of laughter echoed inside the 3sixty Lounge, known to be one of the most exclusive and the most ᙭- rated clubs in the city. Here inside the lounge, Rich pot-bellied men and handsome

playboys enjoy themselves as they lavishly squander bundles of cash on strippers that danced nakedly before them. While some of them were busy focusing on strippers, some were busy playing cards, some were busy discussing shady business deals, and some were discussing top government secrets.

Here in the VIP lobby, Minister Borja and some politicians discuss and argue amongst themselves about a current government project that didn't sit well with either of them. Borja, who was more disturbed, showed his resentment towards the project.

"This is madness!!! Can you imagine? This is genocide. I won't be a part of this." Borja's voice came filled with agitation.

"When I was presented with the project, I was terrified." Another minister added. "What has this world come to?"

Holding up a glass of champagne Sir Kelsey tried to calm his associates. "Look! Let's not forget that this project is being handled by the State Secret Service"

"You mean the KILL Squad?" Captain Fati asked a little too loudly.

"Shhh! Quiet Captain. You don't say that name out loud. Have you forgotten the organization is meant to be a secret?" Borja reprimanded the Captain.

"Listen here gentlemen, we're not even supposed to be talking about this in a public gathering like this." Sir Kelsey supported Minister Borja.

"The minister is right. The world isn't as it used to be. Technology is so advanced, and there is surveillance everywhere. A man cannot take a shit in his house privately anymore." Francis joked about the situation they were stuck in.

"I think you're starting to watch so many movies. Soon you'll say our conversations are being recorded."

"Is it not visible? Have you forgotten what happened six years ago?" Borja reminisced.

"What happened six years ago?" Captain Fati asked with curiosity laced in his words. He had just become a member of the Conglomerate not too long ago and was still learning about the organization he was now a member of.

"Shiba exposed the CIA for secretly spying on people through mobile phones and other electronic devices. We shouldn't take this as a joke. I still have a wife and kids to take care of." Borja concluded.

"Stop acting like a responsible family man, we all know that you spend every Thursday evening with lovely women in your secret love nest." Francis fired back at Borja. "Not to mention his bastard kids from different women as well."

"Keep Quiet! At least I'm not the one doing these things." Replied Borja. "Okay, okay, let's get serious here. What do we do about this project? It's madness."

"I agree. But we should not be talking about this." Said Sir Kelsey.

At that moment, as the men were talking between themselves, a handsome young man appeared out of nowhere and stood before them. After sensing the presence of the young man, the men all turned their attention to him and began to stare at the young man awkwardly; after a brief moment, the stranger

introduced himself.

"Good evening gentlemen."

"Who are you?" Borja questioned the young man who seemed to be bold to approach them. "Who do you think you are, young man? Can't you see we're having a private conversation?"

"Sorry if I made you feel uncomfortable, my name is Bishop." The young man introduced himself, extending a handshake but retreated when no one attempted to reciprocate the act.

"Bishop, What kind of name is that?"

"Maybe it's the priest." Captain Fati joked as he laughed.

"Alright Bishop, what are you doing here? This section is reserved for VIPs only."

"I know that. I'm here to meet all four of you. I was sent by the organization." Bishop replied with a stern look on his face as if preparing to devour a sumptuous meal.

"What agency?" Borja did the questioning while the others just joked around.

"Maybe it's a community organization looking for people to donate money for irrelevant projects." Francis joked.

The joke Francis made everyone laugh except Bishop, whose face was still as stern as a gentle sunny sky. After the men were done cracking their ribs, Bishop brought out a card from his breast pocket and gently placed it on the table for everyone to see; as soon as the men saw the fine print on the card they

all dropped their mouths in shock.

"It-It can't be...You're..." Borja's voice cracked as he tried to speak. "Why are you here?"

"I'm here for something very important," Bishop said before bringing out a black file and placing it on the table, he then

brought out an office pen and placed it near the file which he opened afterwards.

As the men saw the file, They each took turns checking it out, and after they were done, they looked at the gentle young man before them in utter shock.

"What's this?" Asked Borja.

"I believe you know what it is. All I want is your signature, every last one of you."

"I will not sign this." Sir Kelsey interjected.

"Calm down, sir; there's no need for you to get tense."

All four men refused to sign the document as they relaxed back into their seats.

"I see, so you all won't sign this?" Bishop closed the document. "Okay then.. I'll be taking my leave, gentlemen. Have a nice night."

Just as he came neatly, Bishop left the men quietly and calmly, taking the file and pen with him. Immediately, he was gone; Borja and his friends were disarrayed and terrified.

"OH GOD! What are we going to do? I don't like this one bit."

'How the hell did he know we were here? This place was supposed to be our private hangout.' Sir Kelsey thought.

"It doesn't matter now. We need to go public with this." Francis suggested.

"I agree. Let's all go home and talk about this in the morning." Borja said, getting up from his seat to take his leave.

"Good idea. Good night everyone." Francis also joined Borja as they both took their leave.

"I think I'll be going to. See you all in the morning." Sir Kelsey informed his associates before they left, too.

"I think I'll stay here for a while, I need someone to warm my bed tonight." Captain Fati announced.

As soon as everyone dispersed, Captain Fati was left alone in the VIP section with 2 of his bodyguards. He sat comfortably and drank some glasses of champagne while scanning for beautiful women who were in the club. After a while, the Captain decided to go take a leak as soon as he felt his bowels aching him. He ordered his bodyguards not to follow him and went on ahead to the restroom alone.

Upon entering the toilet, Captain Fati rushed towards the water closet and pulled down his khaki pants; the gushing sound of piss soon echoed throughout the toilet as Fati urinated inside the water closet,

he moaned satisfactorily as he emptied his bowels. Suddenly, the lights in the toilet went off, throwing the Captain into a state of shock, but before he could move a muscle, he heard steady but silent footsteps behind him, and as soon as he turned around, he came face to face with Bishop, who pointed a gun at his chest.

"You!! What's this?" Asked the Captain boldly not afraid of the gun on his chest already.
