"Ma'am! What's going on here?" The first police officer asked as they approached Susan.
"Uh.. Are you talking to me?"
"Of course, he's talking to you! We heard an explosion. Are you the cause of it?" Another officer asked arrogantly.
"Well yes," Susan replied. "I had to. My colleagues are in the flames."
"Did you have an accident?" The first officer asked, bringing out a book and pen to take down notes.
"(laughs) No silly. I set the car on fire."
Susan's reply left the officers bewildered. "But you just said your colleagues are there?"
"Isn't it obvious? I killed them. (Laughs)"
"This one is crazy." The officer driving commented.
"What did you just call me?" Susan asked, her body moving like a ticking time bomb.
Seeing the way Susan moved made the police officer rush his taser as he pulled it out of his gun pouch. "Ma'am! Put your hands in the air."
"You're under arrest. If you move we will shoot." The second officer proceeded to cuff her.
"With what? I don't see any guns." Susan was sarcastic.
Amidst that tension, two of the policemen charge in to grab hold of Susan, but before they can touch her, she slips past them and takes off with great speed.
Before long, the policemen entered their car and chased Susan, who was already far away from them. As they chased her down the road, they noticed how fast she was moving even though their car itself was going very fast.
'See how fast she runs, is she even human?'The officer thought as he asked the driver to increase the speed. "Add more speed, maybe 120!"
Meanwhile, despite how fast she was going, Susan noticed that the police car was gradually gaining on her; she quickly thought of a way to get rid of the policemen. In that moment, she sees and picks up a huge rock and then slows down a little waiting for the police car to get closer.
Immediately, she notices the car just a few meters away from her, She aims with precise accuracy at the windshield of the car, throwing the stone hard with all her might.
After swirling through the air, the stone crashes into the windshield, making it hard for the policemen to see where they're going. Instantly, the driver hit the brakes so hard that the car tumbled and crashed, making a barrel roll on the hard paved road.
As soon as everything was quiet, Susan casually hopped into the police car as she saw the policemen coming out of it. As soon as she gets there, she pulls out another gun with a silencer
from her jacket and shoots every one of the policemen in the head, killing them on the spot.
After she is done, she checks her face on the broken glass of the car before laughing and disappearing into the darkness.

INGRID'S POV
'(Sigh!) What a day. Being a detective isn't easy at all. Two days ago, I rounded up an assault case successfully and now here I am working on some stupid stack pile of files.'
After hours of going through the files, my work was finally done, and it was time for me to get home to my fiancee. Just as I was about to take my leave, my partner, Detective Miguel, confronted me with another case.
"Ingrid, we have work to do."
"Let me be. I'm tired and I have to get home to Michael." Ingrid lamented that she was having a rough day.
"Quit your whining. The Captain wants us to go check it out." Miguel said before briefing me. "Three police officers had been killed in cold blood, and three civilians were found in a car, all burnt to a crisp."
"Maybe it's a car accident." Said Ingrid.
"Nope, the car was perfectly fine. There are no bumps or dents on the car. We have a serial killer on the loose." These were the kind of cases Miguel had most of the time.
I hated this kind of case that showed up unexpectedly. It always ruins whatever plans I have on my agenda, but there was nothing I could do to avoid it; after all, this is where I get my source of income. Thirty minutes later, Miguel and I arrived at the scene where the policemen were murdered; their car was in bad shape, not to mention their heads, which had nasty bullet holes.
"This is a mess."
"Yeah, whoever did this is certainly a smart killer," Miguel added.
"What do you mean?" Ingrid, who was too tired to take note of anything, asked.
"Didn't you observe the car? There's a big stone on the windshield. These dead officers were maneuvered."
"Hmm, is there anything we can use to track the killer?" Ingrid asked, she was in a hurry to leave.
"No."
Being a police officer in this region was very hard since we lacked modern facilities and resources to carry out operations effectively.
"I was hoping we'd examine the bullets in the heads of the policemen, but we don't have the resources to do that; even if we did; how can we trace the killer when we don't have surveillance?" Ingrid complained, "Security in this region is slipping."
"Keep your opinions to yourself. Don't let the others hear you. Let's go to the other crime scene." Miguel said as he left with Ingrid.
Sooner afterward, Miguel and I drove to the other crime scene, and it was uglier than the first one. The victims were burnt beyond recognition, the sight was so disgusting and gross that I
nearly puked.
"Damn! Who would do such a thing?" Miguel asked rhetorically.
"Only a sick and heartless individual. Have the victims been identified?" Ingrid asked.
"No, not yet. Their bodies will be taken to the hospital for an autopsy."
"God! This case is going to be hard. Without surveillance, there's no way we can find this criminal." Said Ingrid.
At that moment, Our captain's car arrived at the scene. After parking his car, The captain came out and approached me and Miguel with a foul look on his face.
"Detectives, I'm assigning you both to a new case. You're both relieved of this case."
"What's the new case, sir?" Ingrid asked feeling relieved.
"Haven't you heard the news? Four prominent men were killed earlier this evening, among which are Minister Borja, Captain Fati of the 52nd Battalion, Sir Kelsey, chairman of the Power Union, and lastly, Francis George of the George Family. All of these men were murdered in cold blood. I want you both to work hard to crack this case. Find out who the killers are, what they look like Who hired them, and their place of abode? Go to any lengths to find them! I want them dead or alive. Is that clear?"
"Yes sir." Both Ingrid and Miguel answered.
"Good, report to my office tomorrow morning to collect the files. Have a good night."
