Back to the dark and foreboding abyss, Da Ming reported to Xiao Ming, his voice low and urgent.
"The plan is working," Da Ming said. "My disguise as the previous Demon King's servant was successful. The heavenly emperor and the heavenly Lords believe that Jiǎo Lóng is the Demon King's offspring."
Xiao Ming's eyes gleamed with malevolence. "I think it's time to make it more interesting," he said, a sly smile spreading across his face.
Meanwhile, in the heavenly realm, Jiǎo Lóng was overjoyed to be reunited with Lingye once more. They spent their days together, exploring the heavenly realm and reminiscing about their past.
As they spent more time together, Jiǎo Lóng began to understand why Lingye had been acting strangely. She had been trying to protect him, to keep him from fulfilling the prophecy.
One day, as Liu Huang sat alone in his chambers, Xiao Ming appeared, his eyes blazing with malice.
"You're a hard man to kill, Liu Huang," Xiao Ming sneered, drawing his sword.
Liu Huang smiled, his eyes flashing with amusement. "You're no match for me, Xiao Ming," he said, drawing his own sword.
The two engaged in a fierce battle, their swords clashing in a flurry of steel and sparks. But in the end, Xiao ming emerged victorious.
Jiǎo Lóng arrived just as Xiao Ming was escaping. He summoned his sword and gave chase, but Xiao Ming was too fast.
As Jiǎo Lóng returned to Liu Huang's chambers, he found his master lying on the ground, wounded and dying.
"Jiǎo Lóng..." Liu Huang whispered, his voice weak. "Be careful...Xiao Ming...he's not what he seems."
Jiǎo Lóng's eyes widened in shock as Liu Huang's eyes closed, his body still.
Just then, the other disciples in the heavenly realm arrived, finding Jiǎo Lóng covered in blood and standing over Liu Huang's lifeless body.
"Kill that demon!" one of them shouted, drawing his sword.
Jiǎo Lóng realized that he was in grave danger. With no witnesses to clear his name and the disciples against him, he knew that he had to escape.
Without hesitation, Jiǎo Lóng turned and ran, the disciples hot on his heels. He fled the heavenly realm, leaving behind the only home he had ever known.
As he emerged into the mortal realm, Jiǎo Lóng knew that he was on his own. He had no friends, no allies, and no home.
As Jiǎo Lóng navigated the mortal realm, he knew that he had to end the cycle of violence and betrayal once and for all. He decided that the only way to save his beloved Lingye and restore his honor was to become the Demon King himself.
To do this, Jiǎo Lóng knew that he needed to find the Tome of Forbidden Knowledge and the artifact that would grant him the power to claim the throne. He searched far and wide, following rumors and clues that led him deeper into the mortal realm.
Finally, after many long and arduous days, Jiǎo Lóng found the Tome of Forbidden Knowledge hidden away in a ancient temple. The tome was bound in black leather and adorned with strange symbols that seemed to shift and writhe in the light.
As Jiǎo Lóng opened the tome, he felt a surge of dark energy course through his veins. The words on the pages seemed to burn themselves into his mind, granting him the knowledge and power he needed to become the Demon King.
Back in the heavenly realm, the disciples who had accused Jiǎo Lóng of killing Liu Huang reported their findings to the heavenly emperor Tian Ji and the heavenly Lord Tian Shang.
"He's a monster," one of the disciples spat. "He killed Liu Huang in cold blood."
But Lingye refused to believe it. "Jiǎo Lóng would never do such a thing," she protested. "There must be some mistake."
Tian Ji's face was stern. "I'm afraid the evidence is clear," he said. "Jiǎo Lóng is a threat to the heavenly realm, and he must be eliminated."
Tian Shang nodded in agreement. "I will head an army to kill the offspring of the Demon King," he said.
Lingye's eyes widened in horror. "No, you can't!" she cried. "Jiǎo Lóng is innocent."
But Tian Ji's mind was made up. "It's too late for arguments," he said. "The decision has been made. Jiǎo Lóng must die."
Lingye knew that she had no way to stop them. She could only watch in despair as Tian Shang and his army set out to kill Jiǎo Lóng.
Meanwhile, Jiǎo Lóng had obtained the Tome of Forbidden Knowledge and was now making his way to the abyss, the Demon realm. As he entered the dark and foreboding land, he was welcomed by the two trusted men of the Demon King, Da Ming and Xiao Ming.
They paved the way for Jiǎo Lóng to enter, and as he walked, the Demon realm began to rebuild itself. The very ground seemed to shake and tremble with each step Jiǎo Lóng took, as if the land itself was awakening from a deep slumber.
Finally, Jiǎo Lóng reached the throne, and as he sat down, the Demon realm erupted in a frenzy of activity. The skies grew dark, the ground shook, and the very air seemed to vibrate with dark energy.
Jiǎo Lóng's eyes gleamed with power as he raised his hands, and the Demon realm seemed to tremble with anticipation.
"I am the Demon King," Jiǎo Lóng declared, his voice echoing through the land. "And I will bring darkness and chaos to the heavenly realm."
