Airen Santos felt like he was being born again. His five senses were slowly returning to him, starting with the smell of... smoke?
Finally, his eyes started focusing, and he could make out a brick fireplace a couple of meters away from where he was lying.
"Where am I?"
Finally, his senses return to his body, and he takes a look around. He seems to be in a log cabin.
After mustering his strength, he gets up and walks around the cabin. He comes across a photo frame of an unfamiliar kid.
"Who is this?"
Airen looks out the window; the reflection he can see is not of himself.
"This isn't me! What the fuck?"
He walks closer to the window to inspect his reflection.
The face that stares back is of a young man the same age as Airen, but that's where the similarity stops.
Pearly white hair compared to Airen's earthy brown hair
Tan skin to Airen's pale white sickly skin
and ocean blue eyes as opposed to Airen's brown eyes.
"Who am I?"
Airen looks around, desperately trying to find a mirror to see if his reflection is lying to him.
BLAM!
He busts the bathroom door open, and his worst fears come true when he comes face to face with the mirror.
He isn't in his own body anymore. Airen removes his shirt and sees a familiar sight. The same skinny, sickly body is still there.
"Aw, you could have at least given me abs."
As he looks closer to the mirror, something weird occurs, words start to appear.
