Chapter 6 - Chapter 6 {Fight Or I Will Wait}

Catarina follows her and she leaned against the wall and smirked.

"Oh Lizzie you have a long way to go, did you think you beat me with crowd of people?" Catarina said and she smiled. Lizzie turned around a cruel smile appeared on her face.

"But I took something away from you Catarina that's Alex! No matter what you will crawl and beg for mercy. You are nothing but a woman who stood by," Lizzie said and Catarina stepped forward and slapped Lizzie across the face.

"Learn your place, Liz don't forget his my sloppy seconds since you like my leftover have it," Catarina said. Lizzie was so angry.

Lizzie's face turned red with rage, her eyes blazing with fury. She raised her hand, ready to strike, but Catarina just smiled, her eyes glinting with amusement.

"Go ahead, Liz, hit me. I dare you," Catarina said, her voice dripping with sarcasm. Lizzie's hand trembled with anger, but she seemed to think better of it, her face twisted in a snarl.

"This isn't over, Catarina," she spat, before turning and storming away.

Catarina watched her go, a satisfied smile still on her face. She leaned back against the wall, her eyes never leaving Lizzie's retreating back.

"You're right, Liz, it's not over. Not by a long shot," she said to herself, her voice low and menacing. She pushed off the wall and began to walk in the opposite direction, her heels clicking on the pavement. She felt disgusted by her ex fiancé but also her ex best friend. She walked for a long time and she stopped at the hospital. Catarina walked inside she showed her ID and then walked inside ward 309 where her brother was lying.

"Victor," Catarina said.

"Cat," Victor's weak voice replied, his eyes fluttering open as he saw his sister standing beside him. Catarina's expression softened, and she smiled, trying to hide her own emotions. She reached out and took Victor's hand, her grip gentle.

"Hey, little bro. How are you doing today?" she asked, her voice filled with concern. Victor's eyes seemed to cloud over, and he looked away, his voice barely above a whisper.

"I'm fine, Cat. Just tired. What about you? What brings you here today?" Catarina's smile faltered, and she looked away, trying to compose herself. She didn't want to burden Victor with her own problems, not when he was already struggling with his own health issues. But Victor's perceptive eyes seemed to see right through her, and he squeezed her hand gently.

"Cat, what's wrong?" he asked, his voice soft with concern.

Catarina flicked her brother forehead his only nineteen years old he should be having fun with others.

"Vic give me your hand," Catarina said and gently checked on her brother condition. Catarina sighed she frowned deeper what he needs the Aerwn. Catarina sat on the bed with her brother and both played games on their Zeli phones the holographic screen was great as well. Suddenly the door opened and Catarina sat up she saw nurses and doctors moving things.

"Hey what are you doing!?" Catarina asked.

"Miss we are moving to the Private VIP room." Both Catarina and Victor choked on their drinks.

"B-"

But no one listened to her. "Miss we are sorry about the delay but please come with us," the nurse said. Catarina crossed her arms but followed along she dropped her mouth she sighed this damn ward how much does it cost. "All medical bills are paid for." Catarina felt more angrier but she controlled it with her sucking on a lollipop. "The Dean of the hospital wants to see you Miss Catarina." Catarina followed along she had a blank expression. "Miss Lawrence let's talk about your brother condition."

"I know what he has." The Dean smiled at the woman.

"Alright that's good but you are looking for Aerwn."

Catarina's eyes narrowed, her grip on the lollipop tightening.

"What about it?" she asked, her voice neutral, but her eyes flashing with warning. She knew exactly what the Dean was getting at, and she wasn't about to let him get the better of her. She leaned back in her chair, her expression calm and collected, but her eyes never leaving the Dean's face.

"I know what my brother needs, and I'll do whatever it takes to get it for him," she said, her voice firm and resolute. The Dean smiled again.

"Here go to this company the CEO is the only one who has this herb also famous neurosurgeon."

Catarina's eyes widened slightly, her grip on the lollipop relaxing as she listened to the Dean's words. She raised an eyebrow, intrigued by the mention of a CEO who was also a neurosurgeon.

"What's the name of this company?" she asked, her voice curious. The Dean leaned forward, a hint of a smile still on his face.

"The company is called El'goroth Industries, and the CEO is...Zoren El'goroth." Catarina's eyes flashed with surprise, her heart skipping a beat as she heard the name. Zoren El'goroth? She had no idea who that was. But she will do this for her brother. She walked away.

As Catarina walked into the El'goroth Empire Dynasty building, she was immediately struck by the opulence and grandeur that surrounded her. The high ceilings, the marble floors, and the intricate designs on the walls all seemed to scream of wealth and power. She was greeted by a receptionist who looked up at her with a mixture of curiosity and wariness.

"Can I help you?" the receptionist asked, her voice firm but polite. Catarina smiled, her eyes glinting with amusement.

"I'm here to see Zoren El'goroth," she said, her voice confident and authoritative. The receptionist's eyes widened slightly, and she looked at Catarina with a mixture of surprise and curiosity.

"I wasn't aware that Mr. El'goroth had any appointments scheduled for today," she said, her voice hesitant. Catarina leaned forward, her eyes locked on the receptionist's.

"I don't need an appointment," she said, her voice firm.

"I'm here to see him about a business proposition. And I'm not leaving until I speak with him."

Receptionist narrowed her eyes she was dressed nicely no everyone hear was dressed nicely.

"Move it," someone said and pushed Catarina who turned around her eyes popped isn't that Paige best friend?

"Lucy?" Catarina said. Lucy with her striking blue hair turned around.

"Kick this bitch out she is poor and a child with bad manners," Lucy said.

"You are…?" Receptionist asked.

"Lucy Snow." The other woman was two face.

"Oh yes Miss. Snow! Guards chase this homeless way!" The woman named Lillian snapped. Catarina was ready to fight she won't go until she gets Aerwn herb.

Catarina's eyes flashed with anger, her hands clenched into fists.

"You think you can kick me out?" she said, her voice low and menacing. She took a step forward, her eyes locked on Lucy's.

"I'm not going anywhere until I see Zoren El'goroth. And as for you, Lucy... we're not done yet." Catarina's gaze seemed to bore into Lucy's, a challenge and a warning all at once.

Powerful guards came to chase Catarina away she clenched her fists together one of the guards burst an aura out and Catarina released her own aura but it was deadly like a endless space abyss that is surrounded by a black hole.

"Like I said we can fight or I will wait," Catarina said. The guards didn't stand their ground and attack Catarina. Lucy was so happy she even texted Paige about how her stepsister Catarina is about to be beat up!
