Catarina's eyes narrowed as she watched Gabriella approach, her movements fluid and calculated. Gabriella was a skilled fighter, but Catarina was confident in her own abilities. She had been in tougher situations before and had always come out on top. As Gabriella rushed towards her, Catarina sidestepped to the left, avoiding the attack by a hair's breadth. She countered with a swift kick, but Gabriella was too quick and dodged it easily.
"You're not going to win this mission, Wild Pink," Catarina said, her voice dripping with disdain.
"I'm the one who's going to take down Souu, not you." Gabriella's eyes flashed with anger, but she didn't let her emotions get the better of her. She smiled sweetly and charged at Catarina again, their movements becoming a blur as they clashed in a flurry of kicks and punches.
Catarina's eyes locked onto Gabriella's, her gaze piercing and unyielding. She could see the determination in Gabriella's eyes, but she was not intimidated. She had faced tougher opponents before, and she was confident in her own abilities. The two women exchanged blows, their movements lightning-fast and precise. Catarina landed a solid kick to Gabriella's stomach, but Gabriella countered with a swift punch to Catarina's jaw. Catarina's head snapped back, but she quickly recovered, her eyes flashing with anger. She launched herself at Gabriella, their bodies clashing in a flurry of kicks and punches. The air was filled with the sound of their movements, their breathing heavy and labored. Catarina's mask glinted in the dim light, her eyes burning with intensity. She was determined to take down Gabriella and complete her mission. Gabriella, on the other hand, was driven by a desire to prove herself, to show Catarina that she was a force to be reckoned with. The two women were evenly matched, their skills and abilities honed to perfection. It was a battle that could go either way, with neither woman willing to back down.
Catarina returned to the ventilation shaft, her eyes scanning the area to ensure no one had discovered her. She nodded to herself, satisfied that the coast was clear. With a swift motion, she pulled out a small device from her pocket and pressed a few buttons. The device emitted a soft hum, and a holographic display flickered to life, revealing a blueprint of the building's layout. Catarina's eyes narrowed as she studied the display, her mind racing with her next move.
Catarina's eyes locked onto the location of Souu's office, her target. She could see that it was heavily guarded, but she was confident in her ability to bypass the security measures. She memorized the layout of the office and the surrounding area, her mind racing with a plan. With a swift motion, she tucked the device back into her pocket and began to make her way towards Souu's office. She moved silently, her footsteps light on the floor as she navigated through the corridors. As she approached the office, she could hear the sound of voices coming from inside. Catarina's eyes narrowed, her ears perked up as she listened intently. She could hear Souu's voice, loud and clear, as he spoke to one of his guards. Catarina's grip on her dagger tightened, her heart racing with anticipation. She was getting close.
Catarina, Ariana, and Emily made their way back to their base, their faces calm and expressionless. But Catarina's eyes gleamed with a hint of satisfaction, knowing that she had planted a tracking device in Souu's office.
"It's not over yet," she said, her voice low and mysterious.
"We'll be back, and next time, we won't be so easy to shake off."
Meanwhile it has been five days since Catarina went on the trip and the secret who where supposed to watch over her found she wasn't actually at the Lawrence Mansion. Zoren aura became so deadly and cold it was so intense the guards where kneeling. Tommy and Jonna both knew that their boss is protective over his soon to be wife.
"Where did she go?"
"We asked her brother he said girl trip but we don't know how long it would take."
"She and I will be married in two days if you don't find her I will kill you all myself," Zoren said his voice was menacing.
The guards trembled with fear, their eyes wide with terror as they faced Zoren's wrath. Tommy and Jonna exchanged a nervous glance, knowing that they had to find Catarina before Zoren's patience ran out.
"We'll find her, sir," Tommy stammered.
"We'll leave no stone unturned. We'll-". Zoren's cold gaze cut him off, his eyes boring into their souls.
"You'd better," he growled. "I expect to see her standing by my side in two days. If she's not there, I'll make sure you all suffer the consequences." The air seemed to grow even colder as Zoren's aura pulsed with deadly intensity, making it hard for the guards to breathe. Jonna swallowed hard, her voice barely above a whisper.
"We'll find her, sir. We promise."
Zoren's eyes seemed to burn with an inner intensity as he gazed at the golden hairpin, his fingers closing around it like a vice. The sweet, fresh scent of Catarina's pheromones wafted up, teasing his senses and making his heart ache with longing. He felt like a caged animal, restless and trapped, his every instinct screaming for him to find her and claim her as his own. The thought of anyone daring to harm her was like a red flag to a bull, and Zoren's eyes flashed with a deadly warning. He would stop at nothing to protect her, to keep her safe from harm. The world would soon learn that Catarina was his, and that anyone who dared to touch her would have to go through him first. Zoren's grip on the hairpin tightened, his knuckles white with tension, as he whispered a single word: Mine.
As he sat there, lost in thought, the silence in the room was oppressive, punctuated only by the sound of his own ragged breathing. Zoren's eyes never left the hairpin, his gaze burning with a fierce possessiveness. He could feel his heart pounding in his chest, his pulse racing with a mixture of anxiety and anticipation. Where was she? Was she safe? The questions swirled in his mind, driving him to the edge of madness. Suddenly, he slammed his fist on the desk, making the papers and pens jump. The sound echoed through the room, a stark reminder of the turmoil brewing inside him. Zoren's eyes flashed with a fierce determination. He would find her, no matter what it took. He would make sure she was safe, and then... then he would make her his.
Catarina's eyes snapped open, her gaze scanning the surroundings with a practiced intensity. She took a deep breath, her mind focusing on the mission at hand. As Sniper Rifle, she was a force to be reckoned with, and she knew it. Her long sniper gun felt comfortable in her hands, an extension of herself. She began to scan the area, her eyes searching for any sign of movement. Emily and Ariana watched her, their faces expressionless, but their eyes betraying a hint of concern. They knew that Catarina was pushing herself too hard, but they also knew that she wouldn't listen to reason. Not now, not when she was in this state. Catarina's gaze locked onto a target, her finger tightening on the trigger. She took a deep breath, her heart rate slowing as she focused on the shot. This was what she was born to do. This was what she was meant to do. And yet, even as she prepared to take the shot, a part of her mind was elsewhere, thinking about Zoren, thinking about the marriage, thinking about the unknown dangers that lurked in the shadows.
