Kai could not see the man's face, but he was convinced that if he were to remove this mask from his face, he would see a grin plastered on that face.
"Then, why are you here… observing us?"
"I was passing by and saw you. I wondered why a Nocturne Dragon was roaming aimlessly in the woods. After all, it's quite rare to see one of your species. Though…" the man moved his head up and down, "it seems like you aren't really a Nocturne Dragon. You're something even more interesting."
Kai didn't like the words used by this man. From the way he spoke, it seemed as if he wanted to control or, even worse, capture them so that he could study them.
"How powerful are you?" Kai asked.
Kai's goal was simple. He wanted to figure out the strength of the being before him as fast as possible. However, he knew that the more he asked, the more danger he was in. Nevertheless, he still went ahead and continued.
