Debris began falling on top of all the humans trying to save those who had jumped off.
It was a pity, truly. If only they had watched from afar, not caring about others. They would have survived for a few more minutes. They still would have died, but they would have gotten a bit more time.

Shadows covered the ground and soon, it would be blood.
The debris fell at a rapid pace, killing everyone below it. Kai didn't get system notifications this time. However, he would still be able to devour those beings as soon as he got down from this building.
Speaking of which, that's exactly what Kai was doing at the moment, as he crawled down the side of the building, his claws etched into the wood, making sure he wouldn't fall to his death.
He could see dozens if not hundreds of people running away and soon enough, a loud alarm resounded in the city.
