Cling! Cling!

Blades could be heard through the wall as the Titanium reinforced floor groaned at the intense pressure being exuded by the two generals. They exchanged blows that were well restrained but despite that were still fierce enough to create shockwaves, the green wooden swords in there hands were miraculously holding very well.

A tall huge man in his late forties with gray hair in the sides of his head took a step back and gestured for a break, while catching his breath he smiled and said.

"It's that time again huh!" The huge man lingered still looking at the floor with a disgusted expression and added " the time we try to find the diamond in the ruff ! But Garry are you sure will find one this time ?"

Standing across the sound proofed room stood a man who was of the same stature as frank but slightly younger, he gave frank an amicable smile and answered.

" It doesn't matter whether we find it or not, what matters is that the people know we are still observing the human rights , so will pick up some outer walls children, assess them, and train them it's no big deal." He sighed heavily and said. " Though it would be nice if we found the diamond."

At the moment frank looked at Garry with a startled face. " Garry do you really think the outer walls would be stupid enough to screw a monster, come on! Right ?"

Garry doubtfully made a displeased expression and said. " Breaks over my friend, come now we might not get to have another proper spar for a long time, since you have a mission coming up....besides what the outer wall people choose to or choose not to sleep with is completely there decision."

And so the two masters immediately clashed swords once more, sending a shock wave in the sound proofed room.

" This is Qzero from Delta squad, do you have eyes on the target over !"

"Delta squad, this is bravo squad the target is in range I repeat the target is in range ! Over "

" Copy that bravo squad will take it from here."

The sky was painted brown due to the toxins in the sky and countless signal flares burning in the sky. One of the biggest fortified cities in the world was located in Africa in it's southern region. It was called the central quadrant city (CQC). CQC had many walls around and these walls served many purposes one of these purposes was to offer different levels of accomodations. Those people who couldn't afford to pay accomodation were sent to the outer district the was also none as the outer walls, where they where exposed more to the toxins in the air and the threats of the monsters.

Every five years the Scavengers a powerful organization tasked with eliminating monsters, raising leaders and restoring the world to normal, enrolled five people who lived in the outer walls every five years. So this year the scavengers were tasked with finding the perfect candidates.

In alley way a dampster l was making a weird noise and in the dampster a boy with short black hair and golden brown skin was happily sorting through the garbage, his hands were covered with grease and his torn clothes that looked more like rags where even dirtier despite that he didn't seem to mind. The boy had strange eyes his pupils had a big green circle around them, which made him look both scary at mesmerizing.

The strange boys name was Zain, he liked sorting through this particular dampster because because it was where the fresh food was thrown together with most of the things the rich people found useless. Zain had learnt this through one of the magazines he had found in the same dampster. He had now finished sorting out what he would eat for the day and was happily feasting on an improvised sandwich.

Has zain ate the sandwich an explosion was suddenly made in the alley way which sent him finally out of the dampster and falling on the ground. The alley way was made between two abounded factories that people really visited except for the garbage collectors. As Zain thought this in his mind he struggled to get up.

"Scan him ! " A loud voice could be heard behind him, as he turned his heard to the side of the Alley way that was open to the street he saw a group of people armed with guns and wearing masks. Zain remembered what he had over heard while two oldmen where talking. They said something about the scavengers people who where killing monsters.

' shit! Is this how I die, no wait...its only my eyes that look strange surely these black devils won't kill me right?' Zain that to himself as he was recovering from that explosion.

" Confirmed sir ! We found the diamond in the ruff!" A young woman's voice came from one the people who were checking him. When another one answered.

" Wonderful, finally after searching I was beginning to think it was just a myth!" A man's voice sounded. While the others softly chuckled. "Well then we have all the recruits let's go."

At that moment a gun was pulled up to Zain's chest.

"Wait, wait wait ...."

And Zain was shot three times.
