I dropped Rose off first before heading toward a familiar yet unfamiliar road—Sunset Meadows. True to its name, this area was where most elite families had their villas. The entire neighborhood was surrounded by meadows, blooming flowers, and lush natural greenery that instantly brought peace to mind. Our maternal home was located here, a gift from Grandpa Anderson.
I walked through the gated area after showing my ID. The road ahead was quiet, with only a few high-end cars passing by. On both sides of the road stood beautifully designed villas and farmhouses, each exuding elegance and charm. Taking a familiar turn, I finally caught sight of our house.
Parking in the driveway, I punched the password into the electric gate and drove inside. Stepping out, I noticed Noah's car already parked in the garage. He's already home, I thought as I made my way toward the front door.
