That however changed in 2023 when God and higher beings suddenly started to choose people from amongst the populace and gave them power to use, essentially turning them into superhumans and the fully cemented the fact that the Supernatural do indeed exist. The emergence of Gates and it's dangers however allowed the world to realise the reason as to why the higher beings have decided to bless them.
