That day, Chen Feng's plan to receive another dose of medicinal soup was not realized.

It wasn't much of a regret, however, as after a full day of standing and practicing punches, by 3 p.m., just before finishing his training session, he had made some progress.

[Progress +1!]

[Flame Tiger Stance: Tiger Form (2%)+]

Chen Feng wiped the sweat off his face as he glanced at the panel.

Yesterday, he had used four doses of Limit Breaking, and there was still one left.

Now, seeing the mediocrity of his talent again, he didn't hesitate and quickly assigned points.

[Flame Tiger Stance: Tiger Form (12%)]

"Only 10%?"

Chen Feng raised an eyebrow and wiped the sweat from his face.

As his power grew, the level of the skills kept increasing.

He noticed that he was relying more and more on the Limit-Break Light Orbs.

Thinking of this, he exhaled, and the memory of the azure orb he saw in the dream world came to mind.

He wondered whether it was a talent or a skill...

Curiosity nagged at him, and the core class for the day finally came to an end.

Without further delay, Chen Feng and Lin Hao quickly went to the locker room and changed clothes.

"Did you hear?"

"What?"

"Wu Tian tested his punch power at noon, 145kg."

"Wow, that's almost better than a 9th-dan amateur!"

"Tomorrow is the competition. I hope I don't meet him."

Other students entered the locker room and whispered.

Lin Hao frowned when he heard and instinctively looked at Chen Feng.

"What's up?"

"Can you handle it?"

Lin Hao asked quietly. He remembered Wu Tian's displeased expression when his challenge to spar was rejected yesterday.

"No problem."

Chen Feng shook his head, his expression calm.

Seeing his calm demeanor, Lin Hao opened his mouth but ultimately didn't say anything more.

Over the past few days, he had understood Chen Feng's personality and realized that some things were better left unsaid.

Tap, tap!

Footsteps echoed.

The two quickly left the martial arts hall, each going their separate way.

As Chen Feng walked towards the bus, Lin Hao watched his back slowly disappear.

The last two figures to leave the martial arts hall paused for a moment. One of them squinted his eyes and showed a playful smile.

"Pei Yue, what do you think his level is now?"

"Probably still at the amateur 8th-dan?" said the burly, older youth with a frown.

Since they were all from the same core class, it wasn't hard to check some details.

It had been just two days, how much could he have progressed.

"You didn't notice at noon? He also took some Qi and Blood soup."

"Oh?" Pei Yue raised an eyebrow.

"It doesn't matter. Anyone who can get into the core class is a genius."

Wu Tian smiled playfully as he withdrew his gaze.

"Tomorrow, I'll make him realize that…"

"Geniuses aren't all in the same league."

His tone was calm but full of strong confidence. Soon, with envious and admiring gazes from other students, he and Pei Yue strolled off.

...

"Ding dong!"

"Welcome!"

At 3:50 p.m., the familiar voice echoed at the entrance of Yongle Fu Supermarket.

A sturdy young man, wearing a red vest, pushed through the transparent soft curtain and walked in like a moving black rock.

"Aunt He, is the machine fixed?"

Chen Feng's familiar voice made He Xiuping look up.

"Ah, yes, the repairman came this morning."

She nodded and gave Chen Feng a few more glances.

She couldn't help but wonder if it was just her imagination, but it seemed like he had gotten even sturdier?

"It's almost time, Aunt He."

Chen Feng spoke as he donned his employee vest, not noticing her silent gaze.

"Oh, the day really passed quickly."

He Xiuping smiled and didn't delay any further.

"Alright, thank you, Xiao Feng. I'm leaving now."

"Take care, Aunt He."

Once the conversation ended, He Xiuping quickly left, and the transparent soft curtain was lifted again.

Li Hongxia, wearing a yellow delivery outfit, walked in, sweating profusely, with Xu Yao, her old schoolbag slung on her back, following behind.

"Sister Zhang, I'm here."

"Hey, don't rush, drink some water first."

The group of women in their thirties or fifties exchanged a few words. Chen Feng heard a familiar voice and smiled at Xu Yao.

"Are you signing up soon?"

Chen Feng casually asked. It was already mid-August.

"Next Friday," Xu Yao shyly replied, lowering her head.

Her shoulder-length hair hung loosely, and her bright apricot eyes were focused on the gray tiles beneath her feet, as if trying to find a flower in the cracks.

"The summer vacation really passed quickly. My son will soon go back to teaching," Sister Zhang added.

Li Hongxia responded with a hint of envy, "Being a college teacher sounds nice. I wish Xiao Yao could be a teacher too."

"I'm sure that won't be a problem, Xu Yao is so obedient, and her grades are great," Zhang Jie said with a smile.

"This last year of high school, just push harder, and she'll definitely get into a top teacher's college."

Zhang Jie continued cheerfully. Chen Feng didn't respond, just smiling as he ruffled Xu Yao's head.

Having spent some time with them, he could tell that Li Hongxia had high hopes for Xu Yao.

The little girl was well-behaved and didn't struggle in her studies, and everyone wished for her future to be even brighter.

"Alright, alright, you two get back to work. I need to go cook."

"Goodbye, Xiao Feng, Xu Yao."

"Take care, Aunt Zhang." Chen Feng nodded.

"Goodbye, Aunt Zhang," Xu Yao whispered. Then she walked to the back of the shelves to continue her homework, the faint sound of writing and sketching filling the air.

Chen Feng stood behind the cash register, occasionally processing payments or gazing out the window, quietly waiting for night to fall.

"Has Tian Heng Society given up on following me?"

The usual malicious intent hadn't shown up, and no black cars were parked on the street outside.

This made Chen Feng wonder if they had been following the wrong person?

Or perhaps...

Had it been because he entered the core class?

As this thought crossed his mind, the mechanical notification sounded again at the supermarket entrance.

And with it, came the faint sound of laughter.

"Sun Zhi is really rich; he bought a necklace just like that."

"Really something, Han Yue."

Two girls in their twenties walked into the supermarket together.

One had long wavy hair, heavily made up, tall, and wearing a strapless dress.

The other had a similar outfit, a tight crop top showing off her figure.

"Hm?" Chen Feng raised an eyebrow.

He felt like he had seen one of them before, the one in the strapless dress.

Not giving it much thought, he stood behind the register, waiting for them to pay for their drinks.

"Hmm? I think it's Chen Feng?"

The girl in the strapless dress paused her actions, frowning and looking at him.

After a few seconds of hesitation, she uncertainly asked, "Chen Feng?"

"Hmm?" Chen Feng frowned.

"Old classmate, it's me, Han Yue. Don't you remember?" Han Yue smiled teasingly, her brow relaxed.

Chen Feng was taken aback. Now he understood why she looked so familiar.

She was his high school classmate, Han Yue.

And, during the three years of high school, his secret crush.

However, unlike the youthful innocence of the past, she had changed a lot, with heavy makeup now.

"Why didn't you come to the class reunion a few days ago?"

"Had something to do," Chen Feng replied simply, his face expressionless.

"Is that so..." Han Yue raised an eyebrow, seemingly not used to his indifferent attitude.

She then looked him up and down.

"You've gotten stronger, Chen Feng. Do you work out?"

Chen Feng nodded slightly, responding politely.

"How come you're working as a cashier here? I remember you had pretty good grades and were studying hotel management?" Han Yue continued with a smile, as if making small talk.

"It's fine here."

Chen Feng replied calmly, not offering much explanation.

Han Yue nodded but didn't ask further, though the smile on her face faded slightly.

"Alright, I'll be going now."

"Take care."

Chen Feng nodded gently, hearing the payment notification sound, and watched them leave.

He also overheard their conversation carried by the wind.

"Your classmate?"

"Yes, we were in the same class in high school."

"He's kind of stingy. Didn't even offer to buy us water."

"Typical. We're not really close."

"Good for you, though. You've got your sights on Sun Zhi. Don't worry about that Chen Feng. He's just a cashier. Looks like he's not doing that well."
