The receptionist, who was a young lady with short hair and round glasses, greeted them kindly, and Rayna noticed a weird badge on her chest, in which she asked about, "Oh, I'm part of the finance division, names: Ailayn Sokolov." she said as she started typing on a computer. "Wait, I thought everyone just hunts Iyas?" Johnathan asked as she finished typing on the computer.
"Well yes, I do still hunt Iyas, but there's more divisions, the most famous is the military department, while there is also, Armoury, Technology, Aid, blah blah blah." She started getting carried away but caught herself.
"So, what do you guys need, and I see Haruta brought you guys here." She said as she noticed Haruta standing beside them. "Hey Ailayn, these guys have completed the Vaxotis mall mission, y'know the one where you uncover the mall's secret." Haruta said to Ailayn, she then started to type on the computer, but looked slightly sceptical.
"These guys don't look too strong, but eh whatever, I'm not in charge of the rewards for this mission, as I'm substituting for Sayuki." She also said as she gave them their rewards. "Sayuki? Isn't she a S rank?" Rayna commented, as she had a small conversation with her as she was finding the rest of the group, who were at the time finding Satoya.
"Sayuki went on a mission south east of Mt. Vaxotis, she went with Julius' group, and if you do not know who Julius is, well he is a semi-elite rank, and is one of the more professional void hunters." Ailayn replied to Rayna, who understood and nodded.
"Anyway, here you guys go, Satoya, Rayna, Isaac, and Johnathan get the best rewards from the mission, as they contributed the most, If you got to the Armoury division which is on that door to the left, you'll greet a older man named Nolan, he is a retired A rank, but beware, his hearing is horrible." Ailayn said as she then took off her glasses to clean it, but pointed at the pathway that would lead them to the armoury division.
"So where are you going Haruta?" Satoya asked as they were walking toward the armoury department. "I am just guiding you to the Armoury Department for this headquarters, after that I have to go on my own mission helping 2 other groups search for a missing Elite Rank." Haruta said as he scratched his head.
"A missing Elite rank?" Sakonori asked curiously as she scratched her chin. "His name is Elwrin Gavin, we thought he was dead 2 years ago, as we sent him on a mission to hunt down a level 13 Iya, he was the former Elite Rank 2 for the whole organisation." Haruta pointed out, as they were still walking toward the armoury department.
"After we got word that he might be alive, Lionel assigned me, Ashina, and Lucius' group to search for him." Haruta also said as he had his arms behind his head. "Welp we are here, but I need to go now, but please don't injure yourselves too much, since you guys were lucky to have reinforcements arrive on time." Haruta said as he walked off in a hurry but he waved at them as he left.
"I didn't know A ranks are this busy, hm, I just want to get my reward and go in my room so I can sleep, I am exhausted." Sakonori sighed, and they entered the Armoury division. It seemed to be a large forge, with people carrying a ton of ingots, and materials left and right, people in armour waiting at the receptionist desk, and they could also hear yelling.
"H-E-L-L-O? I A-M H-E-R-E T-O P-I-C-K U-P M-Y R-E-W-A-R-DS!" The group saw a man with a eyepatch carrying a smithing hammer, with not much hair being impatient as he clearly doesn't understand him, and his assistant who is a young boy trying to make the older one understand what the request is.
The people in armour left in a hurry, and the group greeted the man, "Hullo, what shall I get you guys?" The man asked with a grumpy old voice.
"I assume he is Nolan." Edward whispers to the group, and they see the young boy next to him. "Oh me? I'm Micah, sorry my grandpa's hearing is horrible after he went on a mission a decade back, but what can I get you?" Micah asked them nicely.
"We're here to pick up our rewards." Isaac said to Micah, in which Micah gently told his grandpa, Nolan proceeded to leave and went in a room, then a couple seconds later, came out with 2 swords, 2 pair of enhanced Iron caestus, a small toolkit, and 1 worn out baseball, Micah gives each one of them, and eventually gave the worn out baseball to Sakonori.
"Oh before you leave, I'm sure you guys are new, but there's 5 ranks or grades for relics or weapon, Commoners is the lowest, Great, Celestial, Ancient, and Primordial is the highest, but finding a primordial relic is near impossible to find
"Huh?! Why did I get this?!" Sakonori said angrily in which Isaac and Rayna started to laugh uncontrollably.
"Fine, I'll buy you a bat for a couple of Alikurs." Satoya sighed to her. Alikurs is a currency started by Morgan Alikurs, a kind-hearted nobleman who discovered how unbalanced the world is as most of the world was trades or gold nuggets, thus he created the currency Alikurs. (works like real world cash).
"Woah!" Sakonori said as her eyes gleamed with amazement as she looked at her new bat. "It cost like 30 Alikurs." Satoya mumbled to Isaac as he was trying to hold in a laugh.
Satoya started to look around the Armoury department's outside where they went to buy Sakonori a new weapon, and he saw a familiar person, it was Sendo, who was happy to encounter him again.
"Hearing that your first mission was a disaster, I am very sorry, but thankfully Haruta was there. I wasn't able to help since I was taking care of my own mission." He apologised to him.
"Oh, no need to apologise, we are still alive." Satoya assured, in which Sendo shook his hand, a larger figure walked beside him and stopped.
"This the new guy?" He asked, this man was wearing a traditional oni mask, with a sumo-like physique. He was also carrying a large Kanabo. He patted Sendo's shoulder. "Oh yeah, Satoya, this is Fujishiro, he's one of my closest friends." He introduced him, in which Satoya was more curious.
"Mind I ask, what rank are you guys?" He asked, "I am Semi-elite rank 4, and Fujishiro is Semi-elite rank 5." He answered his question happily, but another skinnier person ran up to them.
"Sendo." He panted, "please stop running off, and you! Stop making me pay for everything you eat!" He complained to the 2. Fujishiro laughed loudly, before slapping the person's back, "Yuisino, you said you were hungry, so that is your problem!" He said as he was laughing.
"Sorry Yuisino, had to tell Satoya something before we left for another mission." Sendo apologised as he was scratching his head. "This is Semi-elite rank 8 Yuisino Asiryu, we are all part of the military department, we are led by Ashina Tokimura, Semi-elite rank 1." Sendo introduced them further, but they sadly had to leave since they had to go on another mission.
"Oh, figured I'd find you guys here." They heard someone say out loud, and they looked to see who it was and it was Rin who walked toward the group, who were surprised by him finding them. "Sorry for the lack of knowledge, which is why, I am sending you guys to another training session!" He said a little happily, but was a little guilty.
"Where exactly?" Rayna asked as they had no idea where they were going to go. "Ludwig." Rin called out, Ludwig slowly approached them, and snapped his fingers, opening a gate below them, making them all fall through.
"Why is it always on the floor!" Sakonori screamed as they fell.
