-General Information-

● TRINKETS

Trinkets are specially cultivated substances designed to harness and enhance specific types of power. They often require years, or even centuries, of cultivation to reach their full potential. Trinkets grant their bearers unique bloodlines or paths to power and are classified into two types: Spirit Trinkets and Physical Trinkets. Spirit Trinkets are bound to the bearer's soul, imbuing it with extraordinary abilities. These powers cannot be taken or removed and are often hereditary, passed down to future generations through birth. Physical Trinkets, on the other hand, are tangible substances that have been cultivated over eons. They act as reservoirs of specific abilities, serving as a direct source of power for their users. From the two types of Trinkets, there are also five categories of the Trinkets namely Transformative, Essence-Base, Perceptive, Domain and Summoning Trinket.

NB: Trinkets affects everything on a general scale, the force of a ranker, bloodline or path of ranking, classes ,gears and everything. It can be said to be the most rare and important aspect of a Ranker's journey.

● TRINKET CURSE

A Trinket Curse is the inherent flaw or drawback tied to a Trinket's immense power, forcing its wielder to pay a price for its use. It manifests as a physical, emotional, or spiritual toll, such as corruption, life drain, emotional instability, or harm to relationships. The curse ensures balance, adds conflict, and tests the wielder's resolve, making every use of the Trinket a high-stakes decision.

● APOSTLES AND SAINT LORDS

In this world, two opposing forces shape the balance of power: the Apostles and the Heretics. Apostles are devoted followers of the Divine Gods, upholding righteousness, purging darkness, and protecting the innocent. Bound by strict codes of holiness and discipline, they wield sacred power to defend society. Some Apostles are chosen as "Saint Lords," receiving direct divine assistance, standing as the pinnacle of holiness and pillars of the church, they are chosen by the divine gods and bestowed with one divine holy ability.

● HERETICS AND FIEND LORDS

On the other hand, Heretics are followers of the Demon Gods, using twisted and cruel methods to gain power. They revel in chaos, corruption, and lawlessness, rejecting order and spreading destruction. Among them, a select few rise to become "Fiend Lords," powerful beings who stand as the pinnacle of Heretics. They are also blessed with one Divine unholy ability as fallen Rankers.

● RANKERS

A ranker is an individual who possesses a soul ore, a unique substance that allows them to harness and manipulate mantra energy. The presence of a soul ore is what sets rankers apart from regular humans. Rankers can cultivate and refine their abilities through the use of this energy, enabling them to perform extraordinary feats, whether through physical prowess or magical capabilities.

● MANTRA FRAGMENTS

Crystalized energy extracted from Scavengers, essential for Rankers to advance in rank. The higher the fragment's grade, the greater the power boost upon absorption.

● SOUL ESSENCE

The raw soul energy harvested from Scavengers, ordinary people, and even Rankers. This essence is necessary for upgrading and evolving Memories, though compatibility matters—elemental affinities must align for absorption.

● TITLES

Rare, inheritable skills obtained by defeating Scavenger Kings, a unique and powerful class of Scavengers. Upon their death, their legacy manifests as a scroll containing a singular, formidable ability.

● MEMORIES

Memories are powerful artifacts forged from the Core of Remembrance of a defeated Matured Scavenger, crystallizing its abilities, instincts, and essence. Only these evolved predators—having absorbed enough mantra—can leave behind a Memory upon death. Slaying lesser Scavengers grants nothing, but defeating a Matured Scavenger offers a chance to claim a Memory—if the Ranker can survive the Trial of Memories. These artifacts resonate with their wielders, growing alongside them and unlocking untapped potential, but only the worthy may inherit their power.

 

● GRADES OF MEMORIES

Memories are classified into seven grades, each with ten tiers of refinement before evolving to the next level:

• Common – Basic enhancements, suitable for beginners.

• Special – Enhanced power and moderate abilities.

• Rare – Unique abilities derived from rare Scavengers.

• Epic – Advanced traits, offering immense versatility.

• Legacy – Artifacts of legend, wielded by heroes of old.

• Divine – Godlike power, transcending mortal limits.

• Beyond Plus – The pinnacle of artifact creation, defying the laws of reality.

● SOUL-ORE

Soul Ore is a unique crystal-like substance that allows Rankers and Scavengers to channel and manipulate mantra energy, enabling abilities such as magic and enhanced combat skills. Growing and developing from a Soul-seed when a Ranker is born, it is opposite the heart, soul ore is essential for becoming a Ranker. There are three types:

•Green Soul Ore: Found in non-physical combat class users like the mage, cleric etc, it also enables the ranker to manipulate mantra on a higher level which helps them cast powerful spells, healing because it has high energy capacity.

•Blue Soul Ore: Common in physical combat type classes such as warrior, Ranger, Assassin, Body enhancers etc. It also provides a constant energy release for enhanced physical strength.

•Golden Soul Ore: Extremely rare, combining the strengths of both, granting limitless energy and unparalleled power, marking the bearer as a legendary figure.

● RANKING

Please, I know some readers will get confused about the ranking and rankers lol. They are not the same, the ranking is likely the power system or levels for Rankers to climb. In this world, power is structured into ascending stages called Ranks. There are two stages, the early stage and the ascension stage. Each stage enhances an individual's abilities and mantra energy. The early stages comprises of five levels, only after unlocking all these levels can a ranker truly rank-up. The Ascension stage comprises of eight extremely difficult Ranks.

The Early stages commence from...the following ranks after certain conditions has been met ; ie [Energy gathering and circulation, Soul-Ore Awakening and Force manipulation]

•Iron Star entry rank

•Bronze Star basic rank

•Silver Star Intermediate rank

•Gold Star advance rank

•Diamond Star peak rank

Once a Ranker achieves all these five stars, they combine all the stars attained to aid them in rebirth for the Ascension stage, which requires ten stars from one Rank to the other.

● MANTRA ENERGY/ MANTRA FORCE

In this world, Mantra is a vital, mystical energy that fuels the very existence of life, it also serves as the energy that fuels the abilities of Rankers. It powers everything from combat skills to magical spells, acting as the essence behind a Ranker's strength, endurance, and special powers. Stored and regulated by the Soul-Ore within each Ranker, mantra can be harnessed, accumulated, and manipulated to achieve extraordinary feats. Its potency grows with the Ranker's level, and mastery over mantra energy signifies both power and status in the world. This force comes in three types, two of which are foundational forces; Demonic Mantra Force and the Divine Mantra Force, with the last one being a neutral energy which can be used by any Ranker of the two foundational forces; Soul Mantra energy.

● SPECTRAL WINGS

Spectral wings are ethereal, ribbon-like trails of energy that allow Rankers at the Elite Rank and above to fly (Ascension stages). These plumes resemble flowing, feather-like strands of light that shimmer in celestial colors based on the rankers aura. When activated, Spectral wings enhance agility and speed but require continuous energy, making prolonged use tiring. They symbolize high status and are personalized to reflect each Ranker's unique aura. As Rankers advance, the plumes become more intense and may gain additional shapes or even combat capabilities, like energy shields or projectiles, marking them as powerful and elite.

● THE MORTAL REALM (Specifically Earth)

The dark land of Aeon consist of five main mortal races that live on it. Aside from humans who inhabit the Eastern Continent, there are other four races out there in the vast world. These are the Elf race, inhabitants of the Western Continent, Dwarves who inhabit the Southern Continent, Beast folks are found in the Northern of the Desert lands and Barbarian race inhabits the Central Plains. Together, these makes up the main mortal races on the land with other little insignificant tribes and clans of minor races scattered across the world, although there are several billions outside of earth in the vast novel lore, but our main focus would be on earth.

● SCAVENGERS

Scavengers are monstrous beings born from the cursed fruits of Vitaria, the Primordial of Life turned into the demonic Blood Tree. Representing her vengeance against mortals, these creatures exist solely to eradicate mortals. Embodiments of destruction, they unleash chaos across land, sky, and sea—shattering civilizations, spreading storms, and drowning coasts. Scavengers are primal forces of ruin, harbingers of despair and annihilation.

● SCAVENGERS HIERARCHY

Scavengers hierarchy was designed as a metric scale to the destructive capabilities of a Scavenger. The destructive abilities of Scavengers varies base on it's hierarchy, Scavengers from the Mystic level, possesses intelligence to either speak to humans or control lesser ranked Scavengers, also from every hierarchy there are four levels of growth before a Scavengers can ascend. The four levels are Infant, Youth, Matured and Elder level. The hierarchy are as follows.

•Beast Level

•Mystic Level

•Titan Level

•Calamity Level

•Mythical Level

•Tribunal Level [Mythical Scavenger gods]

● CLASSES

A Ranker's Class is determined by the Memory they claim from a Matured level Scavenger. Each Memory holds the essence of the Scavenger, and to wield it, a Ranker must overcome the Scavenger's lingering will. Success doesn't grants full resonance, shaping the Ranker's abilities—swords and blades like memories forge Warriors, while grimoires and staffs like memories create Mages and so on with other classes. However, an incompatible Memory leads to rejection, instability, or even death. Only those who master their Memory can unlock its deeper potential, pushing their class beyond its limits.
