I vibrated a low growl vibrated in my throat as she quickly strode off up the path we took down to the tavern. This night really, in-truly ended differently than I expected. I folded my arms across my chest, my groin. Was. On. Fire. The ache was intense, I needed to do something or someone to get rid of it.
"No, we're not going to some random woman this time." My demon sounded just as frustrated as I did. "She's worth the chase", he smirked as I grinned. I followed her back to the palace but gave her enough space, so I could watch her flee, like a lamb does a wolf.
I eventually arrived back, entering the courtyard as I inhaled the sweet scent of Lilith. Her scent lingered in a trail, causing the fire in my core to expand. I bit my lip hard, drawing blood as I headed towards my room.
I stopped on the second floor where Lilith was staying. I stared down the hall. It was almost silent. A grin crept across my face as I could hear Lilith whimpering pleasurably from her room.
"Oooh, you think she's thinking about us?" My demon etched forward as my eyes flickered lustfully.
I wanted so badly to knock on her door, offer her my services, but I knew how that would go. I'm all for rough sex, but I am not going to force myself on someone who doesn't consent. I scoffed as I turned to head up the next flight of stairs. I stormed down the hall as I burst through my door, heading towards the bathing room to soak myself, and possibly please myself to the thought of Lilith touching herself to the thought of me.
My sleep was far from restful. I kept waking up to my groin raging under the sheets, making me extremely irritable in the morning. Grunting, I threw myself out of bed. The cold floor under my feet brought little relief to the heat my body was emitting. I made my way to the bathroom, splashing water on my face as I stared into the mirror. I ruffled my chin-length dark hair, releasing some curls as I pushed off the sink.
Grumbling, I went to throw a shirt on. A knock came at my door. My breath hitched in my throat as I was hoping it was Lilith, but I could already tell by the smell it was just a maid.
"Yes..." I mumbled as I opened the door. The maid quickly bowed.
"Breakfast is set and ready sir." She stood back up, heading towards the staircase. I followed close behind her; she didn't turn down Lilith's corridor at all.
"Excuse me, aren't you going to wake our guest?" I halted as I raised a brow at the maid. She turned and quickly bowed again.
"Sorry sir, I have already tried, but the miss was already out and about. " I believe she's training in the training yard." She straightened herself out as she turned on her heels to head back to her duties.
I slyly grinned as I headed down the last flight of stairs. My demon was practically giddy as I rounded the corner, heading towards the back of the house, where the soldiers train. I placed my hands on the golden handles, as I pushed through the doors. The sky was covered with scattered clouds, blocking the sun's streams. There was a slight breeze as I saw Garrett training with a new lad. I scanned the area as I looked for Lilith.
"Young Prince!" Garrett spotted me as he tossed the young man on the floor. He extended a hand, helping him up and patting him on his back before he trotted up to me.
"You're out here for training?" he said out of breath as he arrived in front of me. I folded my arms, rolling my eyes.
"You and I both know I'm more trained than half of these lads." I glanced over his shoulder as I was still looking for Lilith. Catching on, Garrett shook his head.
"You're barking up the wrong tree, young master." He turned, as I grabbed him by his shoulder.
"You know where she is?" I cocked a brow at him. He sighed, shaking his head no.
"You know, women from the Lahnust clan are private." He took a step forward, my grip still strong on his shoulder.
"What do you mean, Sir Garrett?" I released his shoulder as he turned back around towards me.
"I don't know much. Only rumors, but if you're interested, there's a whole library at your fingertips. " Now if you'll excuse me, I'll be going back to training the newbies." He bowed, then turned and went back to his new soldiers.
I sucked my teeth as I debated with myself. Should I continue looking for her? Or should I dig up some ammunition on her? I grinned evilly, as my demon and I agreed, ammunition would be better.
A young man came running up to me before I turned and left.
"Excuse me, Prince Sebastian?" He saluted me, as I rolled my eyes.
"Yes, what is it? I have a busy schedule, so spit it out."
"Yes, sir! I just overheard you were looking for that woman, um... She's down at the springs. She asked me for directions, so I told her where to go." He bowed and then left.
"Oooo, the springs..." my demon growled. "I think we both can agree, reading can wait?" I nodded in agreement as I headed to exit through the back of the training yard and make my small trek to the springs of Astion.
