Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 : Farewell to the Fields

Xhazam Garcia is an ordinary boy, living in the quiet village of Kondur with his family-his mother, father, and younger sister. Kondur was a small place, with only a handful of houses and a few local businesses.

Coming from a family of farmers, Xhazam had always helped his father in the fields after completing high school. However, due to the unpredictable changes in the climate, the crops had been struggling to yield properly. Despite their best efforts, the harvests were poor, and they barely managed to make ends meet. Two years had passed, and today marked Xhazam's 20th birthday.

On this special day, Misuki, his girlfriend of six years, proposed to him. Their love had grown strong over the years, and they quickly made plans to marry. A few months later, they tied the knot, and their first night together marked the beginning of a new chapter in their lives.

Life seemed to settle into a rhythm, but now with a family of five-Xhazam, his wife Mitsuki, his parents, and his sister-the struggles to make a living became even more evident. The farm was no longer enough to support them. With a heavy heart, Xhazam made the difficult decision to leave his family behind and move to the city in search of a better future, hoping to find work that would provide for those he loved

With a heavy heart, he left his family behind!!

Upon arriving in the city, anxiety gripped him. Though he had visited the city with his father once or twice a year, the idea of permanently relocating to work here made him uneasy. The bustling city, with its overwhelming noise and endless crowd, felt like an entirely different world.

Xhazam arrived in the city with hope, but after a week of searching for jobs, his pockets were empty, and his confidence waned. The city, with its cold concrete streets and indifferent crowd, seemed unforgiving. His money was gone, and now he had nowhere to stay but a quiet park corner, where he slept on a bench, hunger gnawing at him. Desperation set in.

One evening, as he sat trying to gather his thoughts, a group of local goons approached him. They jeered, demanding his belongings, but Xhazam wasn't one to back down easily. Growing up in the village, he'd trained in martial arts with his father-skills that proved invaluable. The fight was fierce, but Xhazam's determination and training allowed him to fend off the attackers, though he was left bruised and battered.

Exhausted and starving, he barely managed to stay conscious as he slumped back onto the bench.

Just as he was on the brink of passing out, a voice broke through his haze. An old man, with kind eyes and a gentle smile, appeared before him. Seeing his condition, the man offered him a place to stay and food to eat. Overwhelmed with gratitude, Xhazam accepted without hesitation. The old man introduced him to his modest barber shop and offered him work.

For the first time in weeks, Xhazam felt a sense of hope. He spent the next two weeks working hard, learning the trade, and regaining his strength. Finally, he contacted his family, telling them he had found a good job in the city. He didn't mention that he was now a barber-his father would never understand. He lied, pretending to have landed a position as an officer. He couldn't bear the thought of letting them down. But deep down, he knew his journey had only just begun.
