The school bell rings, signaling the end of the day. Anna has been in the restroom since lunch. She removes her white sleeves, jacket, and tie, revealing her black crop top. Anna waits until everyone else has left before stepping out. She stands in front of the elevator, waiting. Just then, Henry walks out of the boys' locker room and notices her by the elevator. As she is about to leave, the elevator door opens, and she steps inside. He steps inside just before the door closes. Anna presses the button to open the door, but it quickly shuts behind them. "Anna, I'm sorry for what I said earlier," he says while leaning on the railing. She looks at him with sad eyes. "Henry, I used to think there was a reason for your behavior. Whenever I told my mom about you, she would say to be more forgiving. But today, I've figured out that you're just mean because you enjoy being that way." He raises an eyebrow. "What are you talking about?" he asked, and she nodded. "I'm saying you're really good at being mean and unkind. When I first saw your picture on the school magazine cover, you looked so cheerful and sweet that it made my heart race, and I wanted to be your friend." He let out a sarcastic laugh. "Are you friends with me?" She looks at him intently. "I realized that you paid for my uniform. I used to think you did it just to be nice, but now I understand your reason. I might not have rich parents."
"I have love in my heart, and I was raised to do what's right, so I'm leaving this school. I hope you're happy because you've turned me into someone like you. I hate you, and I dislike anyone who is like you. I hate you, Henry Castle, and I will continue to hate you for the rest of my life." She steps out of the elevator as the doors open. Joe waits outside the car, looking worried. Henry gets into the back seat, and Joe drives him home. Once in his room, Henry breaks down in tears. A few days later, Edward is in his room, and Anna still hasn't come to school. Henry sits in class but can't focus; Anna's words keep haunting him. Mr. George is in his office when Ruben barges in. Tami is standing by the door. "I told him you were busy, sir, but he wouldn't listen," Tami says. Ruben laughs and says, "Hey, cousin! Long time no see," wearing a confident grin. "It's fine, Tami, I can handle it from here," George says as he gets up from his leather chair and approaches the couch where Ruben is pouring himself a glass of brandy. "Why are you here, Ruben?" Ruben quickly drinks the brandy and wipes his hand with his palm. "What did you say to her—?" George places his phone on the table. "Who are you talking about?" he asks. "What did you say to Laura, damn it?" He laughs at Ruben. "My wife?" Ruben drops the glass and steps forward. Once they are face to face, he grabs George's shirt and punches him in the face.
"Your wife? You're talking about the woman you tricked me into losing, the one I've loved since high school, right George?" George turns red. "You two ended things before I came along. I didn't cause any problems. And you better say my wife's name with respect." Ruben laughs. "What did you do?" she was sure she was going to leave you, and now she won't even answer my calls?" George laughs with a smug grin. "You were really hoping after you paid Stella to break up my marriage. Did you think I would just sit back with my arms crossed and let you mess up my life?" Ruben grabs George by the collar. "What did you say to her, damn it?" he yells at George. Just then, the door swings open, and Laura appears. "Ruben, take your hands off my husband," Laura commands, while George smirks. "Your husband, Laura? Have you forgotten how he brought another woman and her son into your home? And did you know he doubts if Henry is really his?" George laughs. "Right now, you'll say anything because you're desperate. You thought your plan was working by having Stella go against my wife, but I knew you were too calm when you came back," George says to him. "Do you think you've won?" George smiles. "Yeah, I won when I married my wife. Sure, I messed up by having an affair with Stella, but I will never let you tear my family apart." Laura walks in and shuts the door. "Ruben, it's time to quit now; you're becoming a monster."
"I'm the monster?" Ruben exclaimed. "He planned my trip to the USA. He and his family made sure we stayed apart. He did everything to mess up my life, and I'm the monster? George put the idea of breaking up in my head. Can't you see that?" Laura opened her eyes wide, a look of discomfort crossing her face as if she had just recalled a bad memory. "I can't let this go, especially when I believe Henry is my son" Ruben said. But George stood up and replied, "Keep my son out of this." "Do you really believe he's mine? If you're so convinced he belongs to you, George, let's do a DNA test. He already behaves like me," Ruben says as he looks at George, who runs his hand through his hair. "No way, no one is touching my son; he's mine. Ruben, take your nonsense somewhere else," George replies. Ruben laughs. "Why not? You know he could be my son!" Laura steps closer. "If you get the DNA test, will you leave us in peace?" Laura asks. George looks at her. "No way, babe. No one is taking my son away," he replies, his hand trembling with nerves. "Are you scared, George?" Laura approaches him and holds his shaking hands. "If that's the only way to make him stop coming here, why not just go along with it, George?" George's eyes fill with tears; he doesn't want to, but Laura starts to grab her phone. "Hello Joey, can you please take Henry to the family hospital?" She hangs up the phone. Ruben turns to George, who sits down, tears streaming down his face. "Henry is going to hold a grudge against me," George whispers to Laura. In the hospital
Laura enters Dr. Bello's office at the hospital. After Henry goes into the lab, Ruben goes in next, followed by George. Three days later, George, Ruben, and Laura find themselves in Dr. Bello's office when the lab technician brings in four white envelopes. She opens each envelope one by one. "According to the DNA report for Henry Akinola Castle, Henry is 99.9% likely to be the son of Mr. George Adefemi Castle. Congratulations, Mr. George; Henry is your son," says Doctor Bello. Ruben is in disbelief and replies, "That can't be true; I'm his father." George starts to cry, whispering, "Thank you, Laura," as she gets up. "Ruben, I have a recording of you saying to leave my family alone after you got your DNA test results," she says as she pulls George along with her. George stays quiet during the ride home. When they arrive at their house, Henry walks by and hears whispers coming from his dad's study. He moves closer and sees his dad on his knees, holding his mom in his arms. "Laura, I'm not sure how you managed it, but I really appreciate it," Laura cries quietly while covering her mouth. "How could you be so foolish, George? You were willing to be a dad to another man's child?" He laughs. "I didn't want to lose you; I thought that was the only way to win your heart." Laura playfully messes up his hair. "You really make it tough for me not to love you, George. You're a good man, but Henry is your son—your real son—and he's a teenager, so he can be pretty stubborn." George turned red. "Ruben is right; I messed up Henry's life, but I would do it all over again just to have you back."Henry turns around and walks away.
